Another great phenomenally talented band out of Japan. Obviously incorporating more of the traditional instruments into that hard rock sound. But that lead singer is a freaking goddess oh, what a face. Most Japanese women are beautiful !
The song was made for the ost, sengoku musou, the samurai warriors video game for playstation and xbox and it was based on the history sengoku period and fictional stories. If you played the game you know the meaning of the song
@@hopsmetalshow3413 not into this Babymetal. It just seems forced and a marketed gimmick. This Wagakki band music however is pure genius. Love their mix of traditional Japanese folk music with a mixture of western pop, rock, jazz, progressive and even some flavor of metal in their music from multiple videos that I have seen so far by this band. This stuff should be hyped up much much more than Babymetal.
You should check out Senbonzakura or Strong Fate. WagakkiBand is actually the band that led me to Band-Maid back in 2014. The three-string instrument is called a shamisen. They have a lot of talent, the singer is an instructor of shinjin which is a traditional vocal style.
This is a great band that honors the Japanese tradition, however for me it's something I could listen to a song once in a while but not something I would put on a album by. Anyone else anticipating there reaction to Versailles - (Faith and decision?)
@@hopsmetalshow3413 Yes it's a long song, you could do the track Masquerade first, it is what introduced me to the band. And it's a song that shows there overall sound. But Faith and decision is what most of the Versailles fans would say is there ultimate masterpiece so far. And it also highlights every band member.
You might enjoy their live concert too😊 💎Senbonzakura ua-cam.com/video/wRaP6TmKTQE/v-deo.html (Sorry i can't find eng sub for the live concert but here the original mv with sub ua-cam.com/video/K_xTet06SUo/v-deo.html )
Plz check out some Bands from Austria ! 1) The Sorrow -"Knights of Doom " or "Where is the Sun?" 2) Everlasting Dawn-"Faint" 3) Artas-"Rassenhass" 4)Norikum-"The Worlds Desease" 5) InDorsia-"Two Face" 6) Drescher-"First Blood" 7)Reset the World/Forever Young Have Fun ! Greetings from Austria!
@@hopsmetalshow3413 Check out "Yoshiwara Lament" - for a highlight of the Shamisen - Japanese "banjo" Other suggestions: "Homura" / "Kishikaisei" / "Synchronicity" - give you an idea of the depth of this band. Personally, I wouldn't classify them so much as "folk rock" - as I would Eastern Progressive Rock. Wagakki Band attracts the same followers as Yes, Rush, Kansas... you get the idea.
This one is similar to some of their other songs melodically. Check their older pieces, like gobousei live, chie no kajitsu, synchronicity, etc. Something more unique. This one is rather generic.
I fell in love listening to Koto and Shamisen instruments. It is what makes Japanese music so epic

The talent of these guys and gals is out of the park.Imo.Thanks for doing it.
Awesome that you reacted to Wagakki Band. However, my favorite song by them is a slow one called sabaku no komori uta (Desert Lullaby).

Great you're recognizing the beast in the east. Suggestion: "Tengaku"
David Chambliss I love Tengaku
If you love this song, try "Tengaku", "Ikusa", "Kishikaisei" & "Strong Fate", you won't be disappointed!!
Great reaction. I'm surprised that the Yoshida Brothers were mentioned, I love those guys. They are renown in their shamisen playing.
Bandmaid is fun! Talented, even. BUT.... The musical talent and genius.... even the visuals of Wagakki Band.... just no comparison.
I love band-maid just as much. But when it comes to wagakki band they are starting to sound a bit one dimensional since last year or is it just me?
Next PLEASE!!!
Wagakki band - Kishikaisei
Love the instruments her voice is not bad at all. Japanese Folk is how it sounds to me also

This was the Opening song of the anime titled: Sengoku Musou"
Please do a reaction by Wagakki Bank. Video is Senbonzakura Live 2017.

Little poppy but the musicianship is interesting and yeah chris they put everything into playing , oh look im the first to comment lol
@@hopsmetalshow3413 haha
Agreed, was going to say the same thing - music arrangement is cool.
This 'little poppy' band is more metal than many american metal band these days..

this kind of music is not alien to naruto fans
ya, thats the only song i dont like so much because it just sounds like from another band ^^
っk
You dudes gotta take yer pri..s of the table when you make a video. It's really noisy..
Nice, but a very forgettable song.
