Sorry I'm confused. So if I buy a camera or a car, or a pizza or etc, do I pay tax on these items with the LLC? How do they know if what i'm buying is just for personal use and not the business? Is it the case that if I buy things with my personal checking account, then I won't have to report that on my taxes? or is it the case that whatever I buy will be taxed on the LLC... please help.
Am not an accountant, but I think in your case, you still need to pay taxes for your personal stuff. But if you sell things, I think you will need a sales tax certificate when you purchase the things you will sell so you don't get taxed. Plus, you will need a business account, so all your transactions for your business will be using your business account. Again, am not an accountant, and not sure about the accuracy of my answer, but what I said is what I understand, based here in the US in NJ.

Single-member LLC is considered a disregarded entity because the business is considered separate from the owner concerning taxation. Therefore, the owner files an IRS schedule C as part of his or her personal tax return. If you need more clarification, you can book a free call with us here go.mollaeilaw.com/start

Hi@chikasnsaxio, a Multi-Member LLC (Limited Liability Company) offers several advantages and disadvantages compared to a Single-Member LLC. Additionally, there are benefits to naming a manager (manager-managed) rather than having all members directly manage the LLC (member-managed). Let's explore these: Advantages of a Multi-Member LLC: More Capital and Resources: With multiple members, you can potentially pool more capital and resources, making it easier to finance and grow the business. Diverse Skill Sets: Different members may bring diverse skill sets, expertise, and networks to the business, which can be valuable for its success. Shared Responsibility: The workload and decision-making can be shared among members, reducing the burden on any one individual. Risk Distribution: Liability protection is extended to all members, which means each member's personal assets are generally protected from business debts and lawsuits. Tax Flexibility: Multi-member LLCs have flexibility in choosing how they want to be taxed. They can default to partnership taxation or elect to be taxed as a corporation. Disadvantages of a Multi-Member LLC: Complexity: Managing relationships and decision-making among multiple members can become complex and may lead to conflicts. Profit Sharing: Members must agree on how profits are distributed, which can be challenging if there are differing opinions. Exit Strategy: Exiting or selling a membership interest can be more complicated, as it typically requires the consent of other members. Potential for Disputes: Disagreements among members can lead to disputes that may be challenging to resolve. Benefits of Naming a Manager (Manager-Managed): Professional Management: A manager can provide professional expertise in running the business, which can be especially valuable if some members are not involved in day-to-day operations. Clarity in Roles: Designating a manager clarifies the roles and responsibilities of members and managers, reducing potential confusion. Investor-Friendly: If you have passive investors who want no involvement in management, a manager-managed structure allows them to invest without becoming active members. Streamlined Decision-Making: Decision-making can be more efficient because managers can make operational choices without seeking consensus from all members. In summary, a multi-member LLC can bring additional capital, skills, and shared responsibilities but may also come with complexities and potential disputes. Designating a manager can streamline operations and provide professional management. The choice between multi-member and manager-managed structures depends on your specific business needs, the dynamics among members, and your long-term goals. It's advisable to consult with legal and financial professionals when structuring your LLC to ensure it aligns with your objectives. Hi! This is the number one reason why LLC is good idea for business because it separates your business from your personal debts. Hi T.E., for Corporation, Liability protection and you can have shareholders buy into the business and secure investors. Can personal lawsuits affect your LLC?
Hi! This is the number one reason why LLC is good idea for business because it separates your business from your personal debts. The general rule in all states, including California, is that the money or property of an LLC cannot be taken by creditors to pay off the personal debts or liabilities of the LLC's owners. I hope this helps. If you need help in any business related concern, please book a free call with us here: go.mollaeilaw.com/meeting

Is it like “incorporating” like we did 40 years ago?
Hi T.E., for Corporation, Liability protection and you can have shareholders buy into the business and secure investors. (Cons: Subject to double taxation)
For LLC, most common/Default Taxed as Disregarded Entity. Simplest structure and best for overall personal liability protection. Your personal assets are separate from your business.

Can you have more then one owner name on the LLC application
Hi Rebeca, yes you can have more than one owners name on the LLC application. This is called a multi-member LLC. If you have any questions you can reach out to use here go.mollaeilaw.com/start page
But you not a C Corporation though shouldn’t be tax at all
Hi JP! A C corp will see double taxation of appreciated assets when they are sold or dissolved. Profits are first taxed to the company, and then taxed a second time once distributed to shareholders as dividends. Hello! And is llc is responsible for ur money which u invested in that comapny if the company is getting scammed or crashes???
Sir big thanku if u giving answer to my questions i really want to know about this??
Hi Shahzad, for you to check the legitimacy of the LLC, you can check it through your State. LLC is not responsible for the money invested, as like any investment, risk is shouldered by the investor. So better check the legitimacy and stability of the LLC before you invest your money. @@Mollaeilawcan you please explain more on registered agents & creating an operating agreement?
@@Itsjusceee Hello Dear!Registered Agent
A registered agent is a person or service designated to receive legal documents for your LLC. They must have a physical address in the state where your LLC is registered and be available during business hours. You can appoint yourself, someone else, or hire a professional service. Having a registered agent ensures your LLC stays compliant and protects your privacy.
Operating Agreement
An operating agreement is a legal document outlining the ownership, management, and operations of your LLC. It details roles, responsibilities, profit distribution, and decision-making processes. While not always required by state law, it’s essential for legal protection, preventing disputes, and customizing your LLC’s structure.
