The only thing I can possibly think of is that he wasn't sure if it was going to be legit or not so he sent them to himself and he could hand them to her like you guys said. But that is a huge huge huge stretch

If he works in an office, there is no way that he doesn't know. Last year, one of my male coworkers came around and gave each of us females a rose because he appreciated all of us. There were floral deliveries all day, and I worked in a small office!

We need an update on this one. I hope Leah really considers whether she can continue living without any cards or gifts when those are important to her.
I hope he will bring it home for her but my gut is telling he won’t. That’s harsh that he is actively ignoring her pleas to act like she means something to him or show he cares how she feels.
Or maybe he knows this is a set up because war of the roses is pretty well known cuz it’s done at alot of radio stations and millions of listener. Most likely he didn’t wanna play along with said test and chose to send them to himself
What has she done for him because women aren’t known for giving men gifts on that day. So what has she done?
I beg to differ - I ALWAYS do something for my husband for Valentine's Day! We don't go all out for each other as our anniversary is February 28, but still......

I'm latina so in our culture we always give something to our boyfriend or husband, I remember helping my girl friends decorate cards, picture books, stuffed animals, etc, in high-school we had secret flower and balloon day, the guys would always get flowers too, now that my kid is a pre teen I see her friends doing the same thing, but I don't knownif it's like that in all the country but in my area girls have always gone all out.

@bosslogo6948 just like you told the ladies they can't speak for "most" of the world, neither can you. You don't know what "most" women are doing on Valentine's Day for their partner. We can only speak for ourself and the people we know.

Do you show him appreciation on Valentine's Day or throughout the year? Men also need to feel loved and appreciated. I buy my husband little things and flowers all the time just because it is a 2-way street in my opinion
Yes you should definitely show your husband you appreciate them whether it's Valentine's Day or not. In this case she has vocalize that she would like to receive something on Valentine's Day they do not mention if he ever has vocalized if he wants something on Valentine's Day. A lot of guys I know we'll go out of the way to not do anything on Valentine's Day because of that old corporate holiday thing that they hate. There's nothing wrong with that take but he should definitely communicate if he would like something on Valentine's Day as well
