Lol I don't see any comments for the fight at the end with werdum and fedor, my guess is you guys don't know who he is so I'll explain. Fedor (bald) had a record of 30-1 when he went into the fight (1 loss cause he was bleeding too much) so technically he never lost a fight EVER until he fought werdum. For 10 years he went undefeated. I respect vcu but I personally think werdum shoulda gotten the award.
As a VCU alumna, the fact that people are still butthurt about VCU winning the ESPY too is comical. Lest we forget, they had to win 4 games to even play Kansas.

werdum beating fedor was definitely more of an upset but people didnt appreciate mma enough back then to know what beating fedor meant. wasnt buster douglas level embarassing but was buster douglas level unlikely
Skyler Drabing I'm 2 years late but you are underestimating Buster Douglass. He had the tools to be champion he just was too lazy and didn't work hard until tyson. His mother died and it motivated him to the point that that he put those tools to use. Google Rogan talking about it and you will realize it really isn't as embarrassing as your trying to make it. Heck tyson dropped him once in the fight.

UNI upset over KU the year before was pretty sweet too. I guess you could put Bucknell and Bradley in there as well, good grief, does Ku lose to bigtime underdogs every damn year? I think we're to the point where ku losing in March really isn't an upset anymore.
