- What's up everyone! It's been more than a year since we last uploaded anything on UA-cam. With all that's been going on, understaffed, writing VORTEX and THE TIDES, another full size studio album...we've been swamped!
We felt so much LOVE from you guys, thank you so much, thank you for giving LinkClick so much support, giving a chance to Donghua, and appreciating the songs we make. We are so lucky to have you guys, and we don't like the term "fans", let's use friends instead shall we?
We want to share everything with you, all the thought process, what everyone did, what does the song sounded like before mix and after mix, so bare with us as we talk our heads off in this video that has poor lighting/a little too long.
Let us know if you have any more questions in the comments! We'd love to answer as much as we know/allowed to hhhh (kinda predicting the questions already!)

It’s really cool to see how different people contribute to creating the song and some of the small details are actually really interesting
I can’t stop playing this song!! This was such a neat insight; I couldn’t pinpoint what it was about the C section that was marveling me but of course it’s the reversed melody and the lead melody harmonizing and playing together simultaneously that just is soo soo good 👏🏼 the entire song is a masterpiece in its own right. You all should be incredibly proud!! I love it!!
To actually rearrange and recreate the melody and harmony of the reverse one, is truly unexpected! Ones can just reverse it the way it is but this is the whole next level of reverse song that has so many mysterious hidden meaning I've ever known!! Truly amazing work

Watched Link Click and immediately had to find out more about this band. I couldn’t bring myself to skip the intros. Like, how is every single song so perfect? “Keep in Mind” is probably my favorite… but they’re all great.
To see the creative process of one of the coolest song of all time is really giving me such a good feeling!!! Listening to VORTEX the first few times gave me chills, and when i tried to reverse the song from the end... the chills went even harder!!!

This song is a total masterpiece: all the feelings it carries, all the meaning, all the original sounds it did add to the melody. The pitch of the voice is breathtakingly hard to sing uf not a professional. Filled with high notes. Dang it what a wonder. I feel this is THE BEST SONG NOT JUST IN CHINA but also foreign listeners can enjoy and feel how amazing it it. The efforts: absolutely indescribable ✨💕🛐

Dive back in time was the sole reason I decided to watch Link Click, and I thought nothing could ever top that until I watch season 2 and Vortex slap so hard. Thank you guys so much for introduce me to this wonderful donghua and create such wonderful music for it!

First time I really noticed and heard reversed sampling was on Utada Hikaru's Sanctuary and Drake's Tuscan Leather and Furthest thing. Really fell in love with 40's dark melancholic production in Drake's music and otherworldly feel in Utada's. Vortex had a different more upfront emotional vibe but really brought me back to that era I loved in production. Can't wait to hear what you cook up next 加油

I have been eagerly awaiting the second season of 'Link Click' since the first season ended. The OP and ED of the first season were amazing which I have kept listening to since first hearing them, and you've all done amazing again with this season.
I am so impressed that Michael learned to sing the ENTIRE chorus in REVERSE! That shows such dedication and passion♥(And yes, your vocals are perfection, Michael).
The piano also sounded exactly like you said, currents coming from a vortex! It was just magical listening to the reversed piano in isolation. I also enjoyed listening to Michael's voice in reverse in isolation too so I could actually listen to the pronunciation.. and then Michael joined in singing live which made my jaw drop to the floor.
Haha I really like the pause in the music! It really give the song a punch and highlights the cool beats in it. Great idea Michael, even if you just suggested it to take a breath 😂

'Vortex' is a masterpiece that the whole world should know about ♥ (And Michael, don't be camera shy!! We want to see the man behind the unbelievably stunning vocals).
Just an idea--- but I would love to watch an acoustic version of this song with Michael's singing being the highlight and singing live!

As someone whose hobby is making covers and mixing this was so fascinating and really cool to see! I have used the reverse effect before on my vocals but it's never sounded as good as this!! And I agree Michael's raw vocals are perfect ♥️ awesome work guys!!!

Amazing song, both season one and season two. Added to my favorite playlist as soon as I heard it. I haven't been able to get the song out of my mind for the past few days.
I have my own theories about what happens (or what is going to happen) in season 2 and beyond, and it actually has to do with the lyrics of the OP and ED. Between Dive Back in Time, Overthink, Vortex, the TIDES, and XƎTЯOVerthink, there are a lot of hints lyrically if they are meant to be taken as hints. However, I'm not sure how much influence the director has over you guys lyrically. Is there any merit to reading in between the lines on the lyrics? Or am I overthinking? It'd be great if you can answer, but if not it's no problem. Love the work you do, and keep up the fantastic work!
