- 14 Year old Faith is just the gift that keeps on giving when it comes to UA-cam! I thought the first video was funny and apparently 800 odd thousand of you did too! This next episode is even funnier.
None of it is scripted and all of her reactions are 100% genuine!
I don’t feel sick when I see someone throwing up in a video I only get the chills if I hear someone around me throwing up which gets me very bad chills
Fr. My entire body trembles
Yeah it gives me the chills
same here
Same when some one threw up at school I tremble have chils. And is it me or I don't like to see it twice

So glad you showed Faith how to stow her sunglasses. We got to see the terror in her eyes after that:) Have to say that I admire her for getting in a second time.
Haha brilliant. Thanks for watching!
Faith !! I've missed you ! I was hoping that since the last flight you would be all over that aircraft wanting to learn more and spend the time learning about flying. Remember, you are in an aircraft that is light with controlled surfaces. Nick has got this airplane with his capable hands. Faith, get the time to pick Nick's brain and learn to fly ! The rewards are amazing !
Thank you and thanks for watching!
me: ew it’s disgusting
my brain: but you wanna see it
me: i do
*clicks*

I have emetophobia and this surely would have been my worst nightmare. I would have been crying and hysterical. She is a brave young woman!
same i have a BIG FEAR of things like this i would be scared even if someone didn’t feel well. 😭
Welcome to the club. Have that phobia as well; fortunately it got better over the years. Long flights still scare me tho.The fact that I can't escape the situation drives me nuts. Meds do help.
Me too! 😱
Can I ask which meds? Because I am going soon to the doctor for meds and all I have been using for my anxiety or nausea is zofran, but for more extreme anxiety I think I need something stronger like Xanax or loperazam (however you spell it).
I also have fear or turbulence and causes me extreme anxiety. I will need meds if I ever fly again.
Well handled Nick. That’s a major distraction to deal with during a critical phase of flight. I’m glad it hasn’t put Faith off either. 👍
Thanks mate. Yeah it was a bit of a rubbish time but in hindsight, if it's going to happen, I would rather it happen there than 10 miles away. Had it happened further from the airfield I think I would have had to perform a forced landing for safety's sake as I can't fly the plane if I'm being sick too! It gets the cogs turning thinking "what if?!" for sure! Thanks for watching buddy!
@@LetsGoFlying yeah that’s a very good point. Although a forced landing in an unknown field might have been risky than barfing straight and level and trying to compose yourself. As you say, thought provoking!
We always have a sick bag in the door pocket on the passenger side, for these sort of occasions.
I had one too but it was in the pouch under her seat! She lost the ability to function like a human and reach for it though and I couldn't get at it as I was trying to land the plane!!!!
Good idea
Great video Nick; well done Faith i hope being sick hasnt put you off flying again! 👍
Haha admittedly she’s not been up since but she does want to! Thanks for watching!
@@LetsGoFlyingAha! Being sick really does has the ability to put one off. Despite that; shes a gem!
If I ever got sick on an airplane or something, I would never go anywhere near an airplane again
“It’s okay, it’s okay, it’s okay” probably telling himself it’s okay
19:52 is where she throws up btw
She was so scared, I have Acrophobia, I could NEVER do that! Nick, Faith is so brave!
That really did make me chuckle . I've never seen someone get out of a microlight so quick 😂
Bless her! Such a trooper. Great girl.
Very entertaining video and fair play to Faith for being a good sport. I can’t believe how someone can be so exhilarated and sh@t scared all at the same time. 👍
I know! My sentiments exactly! Thanks for watching!
The #t is literally a thing that can take you to a short
DONT SWEAR
To be fair, any PAX being unwell is actually a very serious issue. The welfare of all onboard is paramount, then there's the huge distraction it can place on the pilot, there's the risk of the PAX becoming panicky and unintentionally knocking controls. The fact you handled this well is a big thumbs up. I'm glad that all are ok and able to see the funny side to it afterwards. I hope Faith is ok and returns to the skies soon
Yes it’s far from ideal. My hardish landing can attest to that! It’s easy to see how someone can get distracted. Thanks for watching!
@@LetsGoFlying As a pilot, you have to remember the number one rule, no matter whatever is happening in the plane with you. Fly the plane. 🤠🤠
Pilot to passenger: "Don't panic but keep a look out for other planes...if they're really close I need to know"
Can just imagine the captain of a commercial aircraft coming over the PA with that to the passengers... 🤣
The shaking is so funny
I love how he just says its ok
She was brave and didn’t panic when she was sick again she might have felt very bad but it happens just like in the plane
It was the coke that did it! I remember going on a coach trip with my daughter, step-daughter and her mum from Gainsborough, to Great Yarmouth '150 miles.... I was fine. Before we came back, I had a coke and a hamburger. The jiggling about coming back was making me queasier and queasier by the mile. I was feeling dreadful..... By the time we got off at our stop, withing a split second.... it was projectile vomiting for nearly a minute. That was August 1998. I've never has fizzy when out n a journey, on a coach or me driving since.... never will either! I really felt for her, as I knew exactly what was happening to her minute by minute, poor girl!!
I have a big fear of heights I would not handle this
Thank goodness she did she was very brave :D
I would have been closing my eyes hard shut during it LOL
The fact of the first thing demonstrates
Sending so so much love and hugs I’m so so sorry for everything that you’ve been through and are going through 🩷🩷🩷💕💕🩷🩷🩷
Never a firstname revealed itselt to be such an understatement... The amount of faith in the pilot she must have to be able to manage her reaction level...
Ha ha
@@LetsGoFlying My only surprise was to NOT see her sick from the beginning of her flying experience with you. She seems to be at any moment on the brink of a panic attack, a heart attack, and a total shutdown altogether. I seriously wonder if you all should ask a physician to diagnose her sudden uncontrolled moves and reactions. For the welfare and health of all parties involved. Just sayin'. And it is not because Faith deserves her name that she should fly on her own decision. Her reactions are over the roof, that is good for UA-cam fame, but hey, this is health we are talking about, not only YT algorithm. Peace & Prosper. ❤🖖
tysm for blurring it ❤ i believe you handled this amazingly. so did she. props to you both❤

Such a lovely young lady. I hope she will go on to get her own licence in time. The world needs more female aviators. Just to prove even the highway in the sky has pot holes too. If she keeps flying with you I think Faith will soon lose her nerves and relax in flight. I think shes likely to get over it with you faster than with anyone else because you are a pilot she trusts.
you're so brave for that faith! well done :) if that were me I would've tried to jump out the plane lol!
Poor girl. I flew with the navy for 10 years and there was quite a few times i got nauseous. Never threw up tho.
I reckon G-NIIX would test most people on a hot, thermic day! LOL. Thanks for watching!
You are more likely to be sick when your nervous then when your exited

This far though? Ridiculous.
I feel so bad im just glad tat Nick did not panic
We have all been in that situation girl don't feel bad
Do you have full version without censored?
Good job u two
What a trip buddy, all handled superbly well by PIC and PX✌️👍😊 She's a game girl👍💜 Save the video for when she brings boyfriends home too?😱😂😂🤣😇
My dad's friend, recently passed away in his 80s, when learning to fly in the 1980s, was sick every lesson, he pushed through, thanks to determination and good instructors, as soon as he qualified he was never airsick again. I think I'd have given up, but I've faced different challenges and pushed on okay too (probably making my instructors green 🤢😱😂), it's all about comfort zones and ones PB💜✌️👍😊
Faith might want to try some Bach Flowers Rescue Remedy rubbed into her wrists (anxiety - or Bach Flowers Aspen and/or Mimulus - seek medical advice if required), some airsickness tablets or bracelets with magnets - and avoid the coke too💜✌️👍😉😊👍
I used to get terribly car sick, dad's company Vauxhall Victor, the wallowy suspension, smell of hot vinyl, the smell of Brut or Old Spice, horrendous! I got over it when dad took me out in lorries and other cars. When hanging around certain airfields, a full fry up, then a bumpy flight in an Auster held no fears - not sure if I could do that these days though🤔🙄😂
Good luck for next time💜💜
That's a pretty impressive feat with the odds stacked against him like that! Fair play.
She is a good sport indeed! She very much has the policy that "any publicity is good publicity" it would seem! 😂
All noted regarding prevention! She will be doing most of those before she sets foot in NIIX again lol! 😂
Thanks for watching!
@@LetsGoFlying She's obviously been reading Oscar Wilde 👍😄😄 Game girl. I suspect I'd have to find my sea legs again if flying, many aerobatics pilots do at the start of each season.
Also without wishing to pry, if back, neck, head etc is out of alignment, has suffered trauma, Eg whiplash, then the "vomit centre" of the brain can be out of kilter (but I suspect this isn't a factor in this case🤞✌️😊)
Yes that fella did well to get his licence, he was the first person I flew with, when I was 13. A flying farmer, so I flew in a Jodel with a battery powered handheld radio, the smell of cow manure and fuel, from a small grass strip surrounded by trees on three sides and a river on the other😱😄😄👍 I loved it😄👍✌️
I'm glad that you managed an okay clean up, there are products to remove odours in carpets now too and make them impervious to such again (I've three friends who are nannies who have to use their own cars for work 🤢😱🙄😕).
With the Bach Flowers remedies et al you can seek medical advice, as I'm no doctor, but they're an over the counter purchase, Eg my friend recently rubbed Rescue Remedy on the wrists of his stressed son as he was having trouble at school and then sleeping, he slept soundly using such. My partner and I have used Bach Flowers for decades, homeopathy too (it's not "pseudoscience", Wikipedia have lost the plot).
Back in the day I know of at least six student pilots, doing their GFT (GST) who took Kwells, no drowsiness, but calm determination to not get nausea and to pass their GFT (all passed). I'm not advocating such now, but for a nervous PX it might help - again seek Drs advice if needed, but such are OTC drugs iirc.
I hear good things re magnetic wrist bands etc, but I can't vouch for them myself. There's also an acupressure point on the wrist that can calm nausea hence my suggestion of rubbing Bach Flowers there (it can be taken orally too) and wrist magnets.
I do want Faith to enjoy her flying, it's a great age to get into aviation and GA needs all the help it can get in the UK, plus she could make a career from aviation - I wish that I had💜😉👍✌️💜
19:03 heres where she gets sick
I think the answer to your original question is , no .
I feel sorry for this girl , she is absolutely terrified at times , but never has she made any attempt to grab the controls , which is the one thing that would frighten me . She just needs more airtime , and maybe lay off those sausage rolls , while flying . My guess is , that's what caused her grief , some of them can be really greasy . Hat off for carrying on though girl , you did really well to fly back . Many wouldn't !
Ain't no way 😂😂
I have emtophobia but if I was that guy, I would full on have a panic attack
This is so tight on her she doesn't like it taking off you can see the nerves on her
Hope she feels better

Lesson of the day, NEVER EVER forget the barf bags!..... I give her mad respect for her doing something that is literally and absoloutly terrifying for her to do, and keeps doing it to overcome her fear. She loses no points for that epic ejection either! Hope to see her flying again soon with you to give her more confidence in flying. Though personally i think it was that drink that got her. The carbination of it shaking in her tummy made it fizz just like shaking a drink and then opening it. Thats why it came out so violently.

Nick, what an entertaining 20mins or so, absolutely brilliant video. But on a serious not that last few minutes you did amazingly well, having a sick 🤢 passenger and landing at the same time. Well done 👍.
Hope you both recovered and look forward to next video.. PS - Keep the sick bag to hand 😬
Glad you enjoyed it! Lesson learnt with the sick bag for sure! She has a wonderful outlook on life - she couldn't wait for me to make this and requested I leave the sick part in. I think she will end up with some kind of career in aviation one day!
@@LetsGoFlying Thats brilliant mate, and she has this look back at in the future 😁

Faith obviously enjoys the feeling of being in the air, despite being terrified . maybe she should take some lessons and go for a license .
She,s 14 but she look 20
Congrats to Faith! A true trooper. Threw up once when I was little. Been fine every since on large aircraft. But have always had a certain level of motion sickness especially on boats. We used to have bi-plane tours around the Puget Sound and I really wanted to do it but chickened out due to how much small craft bounce around. Also kept me away from wanting to fly ultralights. Like that Faith was up for posting. Hopefully she can adjust and bounce back for another flight. She's a fun character to watch fly both for her expressions and her true enjoyment of the experience. Also congrats to you for not losing it after she did. You looked close just before you opened your door. I have a child. I'm used to all of it.
Ha ha thanks Wayne! Yes I was close to following in her footsteps. I think if we were further from the airfield I might have had to consider a forced landing to be honest! She is indeed fun to watch. She loves the experience but is quite sensitive to the sensation of flight and the forces involved! You do get used to it with time though. Thanks for watching!
Why blur?😢
Well done Nick, never an easy situation to deal with and good for you Faith. It happens to most of us and you were brave to want it posted. I look forward to your next flight with Nick as I am sure you will be back! 👍😎
Thanks for that! Hope you are on the mend as well Tim. Look forward to your next episode!
It doesn't happen to most of us. Only 30 percent of people are wimpy enough to get motion sickness.
Lovely young lady and a great pilot! Shes a future pilot in the making 100%! 👏
Thanks Paul! I reckon she will end up with some kind of aviation career one day! A lesson or two would sort out the sensitivity to the sensation of flight for sure! Thanks for watching!
