I just started with learning drums and this video helped me a lot. It's really nice that you show the notation during the play-through, so that someone like me, coming from other instruments and having knowledge in music theory, can follow easily and play along. Thank you very much for providing this resource!
Thanks so much. I am 62 and been playing a little less than 2 years and just starting rehearsing with my Church's worship team gaining playing with real people band vibe. Hopefully will be in the rotation soon.
@@InSyncDrums i must be, I have custody of my only grandchild who is 9. She had a sleepover last night and her friend had my laptop overloaded with girl band stuff to play for them. Great excuse to play at 11 pm, and wife not complaining since i was the entertainment. Oh i have no neighbors close enough to hear drums at 11 pm.
Congratulations Glenn! I’m 68 and just started playing during the services in March. Sam and :D have been instrumental in making feel comfortable with their Simple Drums tutorials. They go above and beyond to help even us more “mature” beginners.
@@timothyfreeman6783 Thanks man. I pretty good at making short hand charts, but rarely need them. I tend to pretty much memorize the song and serve it using the less is more rule. Sam sure speeds up the song learning process for sure . I am on level 5 at Drumeo and Drumeo really knows how to teach. I starting to get secular groups asking me to play, but i not sure i want to haul my kit around yet. My Church has 4 campuses and each has it's own kit. CCM Jesus music is definitely my thing and Sam rocks it so clean and tasteful
Great video! Your videos help me understand these songs to the point where I feel more comfortable adding my own mods or play closer to the original version. Thanks again!
Great video! Can you please Do a tutorial for Give me faith by Elevation?(The live version) I have to play it on August 30th, and some of the tom work is really hard! I want to come prepared, and confident, so I can focus on worship! Thanks!!🥁✝️
Awesome classic! I still have not been able to commit to a long snare build or whatever you’d call it. My single stroke gets very “gallopy” and sounds awful lol
This may be a stupid question so forgive me because I’m new, but how do I sync up my click with the song I’m playing along too. Like I usually listen on Spotify to a song that I wanna play along to, But it’s hard to add the click to that. Is there a way or an app or something that will add the click to the song you’re trying to play? Again, sorry for the dumb question.
Not at all friend! I use a DAW (Audio Software) on my laptop - download the song and import it into the software - it does get a little tricky to align it with the click but is the easiest to do in Ableton which is what I use. Otherwise try a great app called 'Moises' It automatically creates a click that is sync with the song - and you can also turn the drums up/down etc. I hope this helps.
Need the Full Tutorial, Drum Chart, Drum Loops & Drum-Less Track???

I most likely won't have a chance to do anything for that song before then sorry Lindsay.

Hey Daniel!
I’m convinced that the single stroke roll is one of the most important skills for tricky stuff in worship drumming!!!
@@InSyncDrums I can get behind that! I need to practice it more. The one you did in this song might give me some direction (As per usual lol)
Nice
