- Street Outlaws star Daddy Dave recently made the switch to a ProCharger from Nitrous and we give you an up close look at the new combo during the Redemption 6.0 No Prep event at Tulsa Raceway Park........ Sorry for not getting more details on the combo, but the last time we ask Dave for an interview he declined. lol

that is so he can drive on the street and he dont have to worry about scrapping loading and un loading plus I think he sets it that way to help transfer weight.

Dave can drive the shit out of any car with any setup. He's a true driver and one of the best on the world no doubt.
I feel like the intake pipe leading right from the intake manifold could definitely be much better re-engineered where it wouldn't be popping out so far out of the hood!
The car's front wheels barely even touch the ground, damn! Car has some power going on for sure.

Thenitroviper yes they do look stupid but the purpose behind the bull horn exhaust is that the vehicle produces so much exhaust flow and pressure that they point them up to help push the front end down on the vehicle. A good friend of mine Brad Edwards competes in a lot of the lights out duck X productions races he runs in the 315 radial class and is a top 5 competitor. And these guys are making 2500-3000hp+ and racing on a very small tires going 3.80's @ 200mph+ in the 1/8th and low 6's in the 1/4 without any Willie-bars so they need any type of way possible to keep the front end on the ground.
I watch all these cars, Daddy Dave is about the only one that drives thru when it gets a lil squirrelly, he stays in it when other guys let up on the gas. I imagine his car is balanced well but for sure it takes some balls and mad skills to float that bad boy on to the finish line
A very well-designed racing motor with ProCharger on DD's Goliath 2.0. No messy crap under the hood and engine bay. Digs and tracks nice and straight with DD at the wheel too.
You have to respect Dave for his car build and driving skills. He doesn't take any crap and doesn't get tied down in bullshit politics (or bullshit interviews). To me, that shows that he's all about the racing, first and foremost. Kudos to you, Dave.

4 link setup is squatting in the ass end.. needs the lower bar in an upward direction to hook and handle without squatting and lifting the front end.

Running good, and hunkered down putting the power down going straight as an arrow, the setup looks great. Holy crap can Dave drive! -cuts a perfect light almost every time!!

Big Daddy Dave is the best driver out there and his car is one of the coolest there is. I notice that Daddy Dave is the only driver I specifically look for on you tube. I have to mention murder Nova and the first crow are pretty awesome also.

Wow that car is a rocket, super fucking fast and very consistent. What a combo, procharged big block, I am guessing a 632, with a chassis that can put it to the ground. Monster torque. I am surprised he doesn't have a screen over the blower intake, if a piece of debris gets in there, goodbye blower.
Looks good!! Surprised he went with a carb instead of efi. Carbs are hard to get a consistent fuel curve under a high boost application.

I just watched a engine building show and there is not a dyno big enough to test horsepower for the nitro cars they figure now anywhere between 12.500 to 14.000 thousand horsepower soooooo cool

Has anyone noticed that as soon as he geared that Procharger up to make enough boost to run with the twin turbo cars it started breaking the blower drive? That direct drive is under a lot of stress.

total noob question but when these guys look to me to be making a good pass there is still lots of moving from side to side as it goes down the lane. is this due to small slips in the tires and they are just driving around it without using large amounts of steering input, or is do due acceleration and lack of aerodynamics at the front of the car?
That car is SAVAGE!!! Does anyone know why they mostly race 1/8th mile?
Racing 1/4 miles with those levels of cars are dangerous on the street, so they set them up for 1/8th mile, which means they stick to mostly 1/8th mile racing.
Because is 1/8 mile is more of a test for driver skills basically is you can tree someone and out 60ft them you pretty much should have the w some cases don’t work like that but 1/8 mile are usually much fast have a lot hp so it really tests the drivers skills quarter mile you can get treed out 60 footed and still have the room to come around it’s a lot harder in the 1/8 mile but not impossible
