As an attorney who does criminal defense in Ohio and have defended people against trespassing charges: No, there does not need to be any sign. If you have no right to be there, you don't need a sign to tell you that you have no right to be there.

But they usually don't mind as long as you are not being bad (graffiti, stealing stuff, ect). Also, when I was there they had real grass - they did not want people ruining the grass as it is expensive to replace. There is usually someone in the band center also, especially weekdays.

Especially if I wore the ohio helmet and jersey do you think they'd come up and question me or anything like is that normal for individual ohio players to go practice there?

As far as kicking field goals - I'm not sure - but don't see a reason why not. I think you'll need a second person hold the ball. And another person to record. Security might of changed though, haven't been there in years.

I think if you walk into the stadium near the the band center you can get in, and then just walk on the field and do your thing. Also the field goal might not be set up. I've seen them take the posts down. You need to scout it out.
those rooms at the beginning used to be dorm rooms from 1933-1999 believe it or not. a lot of those bigger stadiums had dorms such as lsu tiger stadium.

Our good family friends just wanted to walk onto the practice field for something and they heard some people. The team was practicing and apparently Urban saw them and nicely asked if they were supposed to be there, and they just calmly walked out with a quick sorry.
I'm a Duck fan and i'm in awe at how big the Ohio stadium is. ours is way smaller, however the shape of it creates a speaker box affect thus making the fans loud as hell.
