I don’t agree with your somewhat unkind comments…Brilliant performance here👏👏👏👏. I love that arrangement for 4 voices. ❤Forestella are a crossover group, a multi-genre group who sing in a few other languages besides their native Korean…they refuse to be confined to 1 or 2 genres as much as some would have them be static and stick to one lane.. They are artists who wish to express their eclectic tastes in music with a little sprinkle of elements of classical music to show the general public that there are different kinds of music to enjoy without needing it to be exclusive. They are actually pioneers in this style of crossover and over the years have been adventurous, daring and even experimental.😊Their image has changed since these early days when they did this performance…each one has also been pursuing their solo activity outside Forestella activity. Always learning, always improving, always in a battle against themselves to challenge their last performance.

I thought it was quite an entertaining performance …certainly doesn’t deserve vitriolic comments in the guise of opinion or preference, though. One can express an opinion about a performance with respect that is due the Artist, especially a group like this. Forestella gained greater autonomy when their old agency contract expired June 2021 and they then signed under BEAT INTERACTIVE on 2nd August 2021. They CHOOSE to perform in many genres and sometimes use a fusion of them in one song. Sometimes the era or genre is governed by a themed competition they are contesting…..there are a great number of those to choose from. They have enough diversity in their discography to satisfy most people. . It can be rewarding to spend a minute or two to learn about this particular crossover group (not a boy band) : Here are Some words that describe who Forestella is: diverse, versatile, agile, adventurous, daring, experimental, unconventional, pioneering, unique ,passionate, intelligent, creative, unexpected, artistic, diligent, musically eclectic ….these are some of the words that describe who Forestella is, not who you think Forestella should be…the genres they excel in are not one or the other, but ALL of these: jazz, ballad, folk , rock, pop, reggaeton, gugak , k-jazz, k-rock, r&b, k-pop, trot, tango, classical etc. Their combined ages adds to 137. There are two classically trained opera singers, both with Bachelor of Music and Masters Degrees of Music for Voice - Classical through Seoul National University…Leader of the group is Leggiero tenor and still the youngest ever member of Seoul Metropolitan Opera, Cho MinGyu 34y…he wrote and co-composed his recent song with m.v Recuerdos De Buenos Aires in Argentinian Spanish released in March 2024 filmed at one of his Mono Drama concerts in March. Basso Profundo Ko Woorim 29 y ..also the youngest & currently serving in the military til 19th May ‘25. First solo concert , # 000000 BLACK , October 30& 31st 2023. Entered military 20th November 2023. Sings Autumn Leaves beautifully in French …see Official UA-cam channel. Tenor Soprano/ rock-singer Kang HyungHo 36y …no formal music education, self-taught musically, research chemist in previous profession, FORESTELLA’s Vocal Arranger and Director & Producer. Also has a solo career with his rock-band PITTA ..concert tour current from May til August adjunct to ongoing Forestella trio performances. When he performs with Forestella he is Kang HyungHo…he is under a different agency for his rock-band PITTA and refers to himself as PITTA KANG HYUNGHO when doing rockband activity. Used his science background ever since Forestella 2019 album Mystique to analyse their 4 voices to aid song part allocation etc..he is a songwriter and composer for his original PITTA music…first composition, Snow Globe with m.v for Forestella released Nov 2023 on UNFINISHED mini album. Baritenor Bae Doohoon 38y, Musical theatre graduate, majored in theatre acting…11 th year since debut of solo career with Blue Stage as a principal performer in musical theatre productions such as: Bucket List, RENT, Vincent Van Gogh etc many months’ commitment alongside Forestella performances . Also designs Forestella Stage Movement, etc. Guest performances on many varied stages. Let’s be kinder…it costs nothing …we are all here for music and some really enjoyed this performance …and some did not. That is ok. Hope this information is helpful to some who are curious about crossover group, Forestella.

C'est évident que des "Sweet dreams", "Despacito", "Bad romance" ou autres "Shape of you", qui vont racler les fonds de tiroir de la grosse chanson populacière pour multiplier l'audience du groupe par trois ou quatre, ne comptent pas parmi les chefs-d'œuvre de Forestella. Il est, par ailleurs, assez triste de constater qu'un quatuor d'une qualité aussi exceptionnelle sacrifie à cette mode stupide qui pousse les chanteurs à faire un peu de tout et de n'importe quoi. Dans le temps, un artiste creusait dans ce qu'il y avait d'unique dans sa personnalité, quelquefois si profondément qu'il débouchait sur quelque chose d'universel tout en restant absolument original. Aujourd'hui au lieu de creuser un puit de trente mètre pour trouver l'eau, on gratouille une dizaine de puits de trois mètres... et on reste sur notre soif. Moi, j'vous l'dit : tout fout le camp !
Au fait, je viens juste de m'en apercevoir, mais tu aurais pu le dire avant que tu avais ouvert une nouvelle chaîne !
Et... pour un Forestella un peu plus satisfaisant, voir par exemple leur "Legends never die".
Je ne suis pas du tout d'accord haha, justement c'est parce qu'ils font "un peu de tout" que j'apprécie autant Forestella. Ma chanson préférée d'eux est L'immensita mais j'adore aussi les entendre réarranger des chansons plus pop (que je trouve beaucoup plus écoutables avec quelques harmonies haha). Et je pense que eux aussi ça les fait bien marrer, il suffit de voir comment ils s'amusent pendant leur performances de shape of you ou Despacito
@@poussinette1562 Ben oui, comme je disais, "faire un peu de tout" est une mode. Donc, si c'est une mode c'est forcément parce que ça plait. Maintenant, je suis d'accord qu'une merdzouille réarrangée par Forestella est bien meilleure que la merdzouille d'origine. Et le fait que les artistes s'amusent à faire des merdzouilles prouve qu'ils sont assez intelligents pour transformer des corvées alimentaires en sessions de grosse déconne, plutôt que de secréter des excès de bile. A l'occasion ils peuvent même faire des pub totalement débiles et trouver ça marrant. Tant mieux pour eux mais je ne regarderai pas.

@@poussinette1562You are not alone! Myself and many Millions around the world also appreciate what good voices can do to a pop or rock song. Good music is good music…some still want in 2024 to keep certain voices exclusive to only a few ears. And why do some think they can dictate to this group what they should sing after insulting their incredible performances as ‘scraping the bottom of the barrel’. They have greater autonomy than so many other groups as to what they perform. Also, critics like this commenter seem to think these guys work for free …this is their livelihood too. Unless they’re planning on financing their careers. 🙄 Why can’t they just say it’s not their cup of tea… and leave it at that. It’s the rudeness and absurd level of crass commentary that is uncalled for.
