- The Bab was a Messenger of God. The declaration of His mission-to pave the way for the coming of Baha’u’llah-was made in May 1844, and signaled the beginning of a new era for humanity.
The program for the annual commemoration of the Declaration of the Báb in 2020 has been produced by Baha’is and friends in the Atlanta area who drew inspiration for the program from Baha’u’llah’s Tablet of the Bell, written by Him in commemoration of the Bab’s historic announcement of His station.
I have been a Baha’i since I was 18 years old, and now I am 75 years old. This was wonderful!

The year and location of the Mighty Declaration of His Holiness the Bab ushering in the Dawn of the New Era culminating in the fullness of time in the Kingdom of God on earth through the Advent of His Holiness Baha'u'llah can be found in sacred the Scriptures of every one of the world's great extant Religions, to wit Hinduism, Judaism, Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, Christianity, Muhammadanism..

Disputes, quarrels and murders will be replaced by peace, truth and concord; among the nations, peoples, races and countries, love and amity will appear. When the laws of the Most Holy Book are enforced, contentions and disputes will find a final sentence of absolute justice before a general tribunal of the nations and kingdoms, and the difficulties that appear will be solved. Thank you so much for this beautiful program, crafted with real artistry from beginning to end. I was especially delighted with how you managed to keep the lengthy Tablet of the Bell fresh throughout by using different readers in different settings, and by actually splitting the voices mid-phrase in a couple of places-so wise and loving. The bell metaphor was brilliantly used. Just a wonderful, uplifting program! Happy Holy Day!

there is this thought that was experienced awhile ago of which pilgrimage consisted of 2 kinds, arrival and return. First group of pilgrims arrived through the sea gates of Akka and those who had been on pilgrimage before where landing at the Shrine of The Bab.
The must beautiful thing was no words were spoken, only songs where song.
It was like first group would sing and then second.
Of course they meet in the middle and sang songs to each other.

Now that the Shrine of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá is being built the thoughts of this type of pilgrimage have changed somewhat, where both groups arrive together at this place of silent meditations.
