Why am I finding this documentary 8 years later?!?!? Such an amazing documentary. You covered so many amazing aspects of Sri Lanka. Sadly politics have destroyed this beautiful place and it's no longer the same as it used to be. 😢

Beautiful country I was there many times my favorite holiday destination imple people good food beautiful nature beaches and not expensive... Train journey is so relaxing... I like Sri Lankan bread Thattipaan with chicken curry or fish curry... Sri Lanka airlines is impressive the moment you hoard the 0lane you feel at home unlike other airlines like arrogant British airways or Lufthansa...travelling with Sri Lankan airlines is a beautiful happy experience.
There are some fantastic hotels in Sri Lanka like Kandalama Heritance, Ahungala Heritance, The Tea Factory, Mahaveli Reach Hotel... Well I can keep praising but you should visit Sri Lanka to experience its beauty.

Thanks for the documentary. It covered the places, the food, and the history quite nicely. I love her scrunchies, took me back to the 90s!!! She seems like a very cute and playful person and did a wonderful job narrating. I normally want to jump off a cliff when I hear people talk while eating but she somehow didn't bother me. Something that would have made the documentary even better would be if she interviewed some of the locals and had them tell her about their history and experiences.

Shhhhh great video. Beautifully Presented. I do remember you. You are the one who did the video about Sri Lankan fruits in the Kandy Market. ( That was a great video with so many views ).In yeàr 2016. My step daughter who is European origin went to the Temple of the Tooth wearing a white half saree( Lama Saree ).She had a tray of beautiful Lotus Flowers. Sri Lankans went mad. Every one wanted to take a picture with her. Iam little disappointed. We could not do a travel video. Every year I do go home. Iam sure she will go to Sri Lanka again with me.
