My family visited Hong Kong in 1989. It was then the British 🇬🇧 HongKong . Where I grew up and attended schools there in the 50's and 60's . My wife's relatives still living there and probably reading my comment now made by uncle Joe from half way across the globe . 😎🇮🇹🇺🇸. Kowloon - Hong Kong is always beautiful 👍🏻 . Many of the areas are always dog-gone crowded, busy and being pushed from behind if you stand still among the crowds. So just keep walking forward or step out of the crowds . This was at Mong Kok and Yau Ma Day in the evening . But I like to blend in with the locals and be one of them . ❤👍🏻 😎 ☕️🍰🍫🍦🐈

那時候有攝錄機真的是太好了，羨慕，我應該同呢幾個小朋友係同一代，雖然我唔係片中嘅主角，但就算睇到影片都有恍如隔世嘅感覺，佢哋嗰D運動衫我記得我細個都有着過類似呢種，應該話以前Bossini同Giordano 80年代都係出呢D衫 ，真係好有代入感，多謝分享🙏🏻

Oh, my precious childhood years. Thank you for sharing this. This must have been early 1989, since the Bank of China tower has not been completed, and the Peak Tram was still running the bright green trams which actually retired that very same year.
I think they have a new green peak tram today
@@RSCB correct. The trams are now dark green and the whole drive system was rebuilt, reopening in late 2022.

Agreed. At first, I was impressed with the AI restoration but that may be due to its novelty. Now that we have seen more and become familiar to the "AI" look (e.g. haloing, etc.), it does seem noticeable in a similar way to what early CGI looks to us now. The color correction and stabilization tools are indeed very useful, however, and I will probably stick to just using those going forward, until the rest of the tech becomes more mature.

I guess this footage was taken on 1988 November or December, because at the beginning we can see celebration poster for new year coming on HSBC building, and the bank of china building is not completed at that time, you can saw above url revealed that. It is so treasured video recorded for the HK…
