I grew up listening to a lot of funk and soul, and I’m from NC close to the Appalachians so that explains most of it. I also love 50s doo-wop and 60s Motown. I’m 18 and love to rock out with my record player in my basement every now and then 😄.

This is a master dissection! Love the way you pulled apart and disentangled the many great lines in this song. Especially that first synth line - that one is hard to hear when everything is happening. On its own I can hear how brilliant it is. This song really needed this treatment. Thank you!

My uncle played the tenor sax in the horn section and it took them in (1974)to get it all together, 2:years BEFORE release in 1976!
