I tried copying this Iron Farm in my world without the work stations and believe me this farm is a beast. This almost gave me 8stacks and 54 Iron ingots after an hour of afk. Please if anyone are trying to replicate this farm don't place a workstation. Cause villagers won't sleep or get terrified by seeing the zombie but instead they work at their workstations. Thanks to Wattles for coming up with this design of the same farm in tutorial Iron farm because I had many problems with that farm, Iron Golems were getting stuck at the fences but in this farm its flawless. Onw of the most easiest iron farms ever. So easy to set up and use. Thank you Wattlesfor this farm

It's important to use fences instead of walls in this farm, since golems can spawn partially in the wall and pass through it while taking suffocation damage

Disclaimer: You don’t actually need a name tag if you are having a lot of difficulty getting one. It’s just used to make the zombie not despawn. An alternative is giving a zombie na item, any item, could be dirt or gravel or a shovel, and only a percentage of zombies can pick items up and when they do, they won’t despawn. Good luck
If it's evening, you can also lure the villagers with beds. I make a pen with beds inside it next to where I want them to ascend to the farm then release them from the boats before nightfall. They almost always find the beds. It works a lot more consistently for me than trying to get them to take the work station. Then you just break the beds and push them into the bubble column, move the beds up the stairs, or move them in the mine cart from there.
Since there was no snapshot this week, caves and cliffs hype episode? There’s some tweets that you could cover about a new tuff texture and a new sculk sensor texture.

Go to silentwhisper channel for bedrock farms. He is one of the best by far for bedrock. I built his iron farm and it works as advertised. Iron is nothing to me now. It's garbage. I use it as temp blocks. Lol

Yeah, the junction between the fences bounding the water and the walls guiding the golems down was a huge sticking point. I see in this design he completely eliminated the junction by giving them a huge landing pad. I prefer my modification which involves fire-proof fences all the way down.
I still use your 1.15.2 and i'm on 1.16.4 and it works like a charm! One iron golem spawns, dies, second later another one spawns. I still love the 1.15.2 design
I made one similar based on your previous iron farm design, with a few asthetic changes. I have two of the villagers blocked off from seeing the zombie so they can sleep, and it still seems to work with just one villager freaking out (and no work stations). I now have so much iron I don't know what to do with it, lol. I'm going to build something out of iron blocks just coz I can.
Fun fact: your previous iron farm from your last guide is also working on 1.16(without the working stations, as you said they are optional). A tip I can give is instead of walls or fences you can put blocks with carpets because golems sometimes stack at them and with the blocks they go straight to the lava. The only problem is that they could spawn inside of the blocks but it's not so often.
Built this farm with the attached lava pit next to the platform a few weeks ago and it works awesome! I did have to extend the lower water platform by a block and go 3x8 instead of 3x7 because the gates kept burning up.

PSA if your making this in a snowy mountain or a taiga tower five blocks up from the water source blocks and place slabs and torches around the fences on the side of the water to prevent the water freezing
silent whispers has a phenomenal bedrock iron farm, i use it on my bedrock world and it generates over 400 iron/hour. no zombie needed, but it requires 20 villages, so definitely have to set up a villager breeder before making the bedrock iron farm

Hey Wattles, I built the farm without the funnel. Turns out the golems fall just a bit further than one block forward so extending the hopper collection and lava blade by one block did the trick
And it's even easy to transport villagers because u can leash boat just like animals. So no need to make any bubble column. Just one cobblestone tower will work

On the first day of my new world I gathered iron resources and I was looking for a place to stay when I saw a drowned with trident. I got the trident first time, with an iron sword, no enchantments, on my first day. That was my best day. I'm keeping that world forever
If want the fences and/or walls to go down further than the single row you have in this example, for aesthetic purposes, you could make the outer rim of the top layer of building blocks into upside down stairs. That will keep the walls and/or fences from making the joining part, which also keeps the golems from popping up. And then you can place a third level of fences and/or walls to get the joining part, if you want that.
I should have waited to watch this video. I watched your iron farm video( great vid by the way) and immediately wanted to build it. And so I did, I’m my world which is on bedrock edition. And I thought why is it not working but now I realise it doesn’t work. But at least I can take them villagers and make a breeder so it wasn’t a complete waste of time. Great video 👍
For some reason my villagers won't sleep. Does anyone have a solution to this? (from time to time I will block off the hole where the villagers see the zombie)
My solution was to lower the zombie by one, have the block below the water be a wall, and let the water flow one space (but blocking the zombie) onto another fence before blocking it in. This causes the zombie to bob up and down in the water in and out of their view, and it suddenly worked.
love the series wattles, but I facepalmed myself when you tried moving around a mob without a shield xD use a shield to easy bounce mobs in the right direction
If your low on iron before making this farm and don’t want to make 10 hoppers: under the lava, place a water source in 1 corner and 1 corner only. Place a hopper a block Lowe than the floor in the opposite corner (not adjacent) and place a sign above it so that it goes: Sign Air Hopper leading into chest. Where the air block is place a campfire to kill cats if you want, but it’s optional. Depending where your lava is you may have to raise it up a block but if you follow this tutorial you shouldn’t need to.

For some reason my villagers won't sleep. Does anyone have a solution to this? (from time to time I will block off the hole where the villagers see the zombie)
My solution was to lower the zombie by one, have the block below the water be a wall, and let the water flow one space (but blocking the zombie) onto another fence before blocking it in. This causes the zombie to bob up and down in the water in and out of their view, and it suddenly worked.
love the series wattles, but I facepalmed myself when you tried moving around a mob without a shield xD use a shield to easy bounce mobs in the right direction

If your low on iron before making this farm and don’t want to make 10 hoppers: under the lava, place a water source in 1 corner and 1 corner only. Place a hopper a block Lowe than the floor in the opposite corner (not adjacent) and place a sign above it so that it goes:
Sign
Air
Hopper leading into chest.
Where the air block is place a campfire to kill cats if you want, but it’s optional. Depending where your lava is you may have to raise it up a block but if you follow this tutorial you shouldn’t need to.
