Nice to see you back Luke! Hope you're well and managed to relax and recover fully on your little break. I've added you to the list of a few channels where I like before watching as I really enjoy the content. I'm just starting the process to get on a HGV course and the view from the cab helps give a view on real world driving. Keep it up!
Nice to see a driver doing what I used to do (until disabilities took over my life, and enforced retirement was the game) I miss all the days in the truck. Drive safely 👍
I have loaded concrete out of the TG's Concrete plant at Tattenhall many times where you delivered to, nice to see it in your video Luke, great vlog buddy 👍
The A65 is a great road to drive - its a local one for me! Glad it's been featured. Travelled it many a time from West Yorks to Cumbria. After the 1st timelapse, when we re-join you after 2.5hr, you're already on the A65 at Long Preston, and will have just come off the A682 that you took off the M6 at Preston - just an FYI. Great work btw, does make me want to become an HGV driver! ETA: 13:37
Siri seems to think we sound alike. Every time you said hey Siri it reacted. So far I’ve had the time of sunset, a 30 minute timer and a lovely call with your mrs. She said hello by the way.
Another great vlog Luke, it’s great the way you go into detail with things, What your doing and why your doing it. Not many do that, Top class stuff from a top guy, keep up the good work! 🚛
Great content luke being following you now for some time, your a great role model for younger viewers , that's much appreciated keep up your good work ,hope your eye is OK now
You not thought about trips abroad Luke? The French and Spanish motorways are all set up for trucking. I've driven abroad numerous times and find it so much more relaxing.
Love your vlogs pal, been following you since you first passed. Now am a class 2 myself and going for my class 1 in December. Keep up the good work bud
Hi luke, why do u not run out your time, because as a driver we might need the full 9 or even 10hrs.you said drive for 1 hr 46 for 10 hrs drive can I ask who said that because its wrong, the 10th hr driving is only after a second 45 you cant take part of your remaining drive and add final hour.aftee using your 10th hr drive u are required to take 11hr off so fishing at 7 pm you can start before 6am.excuse me for rant I'm only looking out for a fellow trucker.
Thank you Luke Enjoyed your video. Hopefully the eyes are doing good. Nice to see you back behind the Wheel. Wishing you all the best. Take care and Stay safe and safe Trucking.
Luke, Reversing apart, from the perspective of the driving seat, how different is a class 1 from a class 2 to drive? Things like taking corners and navigating roundabouts etc. . .
Luke NOOO, you should've kept on driving to the A59, I presume the layby in question is just outside of Knaresborough- seems very popular. Anyway Luke, I look forward to the following videos, and next time you are near the A59, get yourself to the Knaresborough layby...
Hi Luke great VLOG as always, thanks for sharing. Just a quick question/query with regards to leaving the back door open, I can understand why people do it when empty or even if it's a low value load, but where would you stand with regards to insurance if a load was stolen and the insurance found out the door was left open? I fear it might invalidate the insurance.
Hi Luke great channel and very much enjoy watching. Have downloaded the avail app 4 days ago. Ive put a 50 mile radius in. Im class 1 class 2 and adr. Only 3 jobs available and not one job offer. All 3 jobs are at least 1 and half hours away. And terrible pay. I thought there was a hgv driver shortage. Or maybe I live in the wrong area just outside London. Recently had some agency work. Last job turned up and the company said we dont need you we have too many drivers now. Got sent home with no pay and now agency wont pay me. Wtf is going on out there. Any advice would be much appreciated. Maybe I need to move up North
Did you drive rigid before atic and how long before you jumped into artics. I fancy doing mine but won't to know how long I should stay in rigid before jumping over to artics
Because it costs around £30 to park up in a service station for the night. Times that by three that’s £90 a week. It’s quite expensive considering it smells, it’s expensive to buy food, trucks going in and out all throughout the night which means it’s noisy. I would rather a layby any day.
as a truck driver you are fucked, local councils e.t.c dont want you parking in there back garden. years ago, yes before your time we used to have a thing called a laybye and truckers used to spend there night out there. but for some unknowk reason local councils and highways decided to fill them in or close them, it just goes to show how much respect they have for you guys
Hi Luke, good to see you back, good idea to wear the glasses to stop you rubbing your eye . Have a good week and hope you get the eyelash problem sorted out soon
I was wondering if could get some advice for yourself or anyone reading this... I got my c+e April and have been looking for work. Only work I can find is container and it's paying alittle less than the rigid work I'm doing already. Applying for jobs galore but only one job offer and the rest are temp work with agencies but I want permanent full time...any advice on what I can do? I'm down South coast Portsmouth and Southampton area 👍🏻
Take what you can pal . Can't expect to be earning big bucks straight away, you will be inexperienced and won't be able to reverse for toffee when you pass , get a job get experience then move up your starting fresh just like when you started on the rigid
I believe an hole appeared across the carriage way near to Haydock junction, that closed lanes today on the m6 around 2pm.My bro in law drove past 5mins after hole appeared,15 cars lined up on hard shoulder with punctures 😔
What a great insight into what you guys do. But where do you have meals and use the bathroom ? It’s mad there doesn’t seem to adequate facilities for you. Man, I couldn’t do what you do - it’s knackering !! I work from home and complaining !
Great video Luke! How's your eye? What the doctor say you having an operation or something like that? Great music choice too. Love to meet you at a truck fest sometime. Stay safe mate
Time stamp? I always wear a seatbelt unless I’m Manoeuvering or on private property. As I’m setting of I’ll put it back in again. So yea. What time in the video am I not wearing one?

Hi Luke. Glad to see you back. Hope everything went well with you. Have been watching Trucker Jenkins. He's pretty funny:)
can't find him!
Hi from Texas
Thanks for the video, Luke!

enjoyed the video chap
Welcome back hope you had a great break
Hey Luke, glad to see your doing well, love the drive and the music, stay safe out there :)
Have you had your eyes done yet . Are they OK.
Great video Luke
Did you drive rigid before atic and how long before you jumped into artics. I fancy doing mine but won't to know how long I should stay in rigid before jumping over to artics
Luke, it should be Luke C in an HGV!
Correct.
Why stop at a layby to sleep rather than service station with all the amenities?
Because it costs around £30 to park up in a service station for the night. Times that by three that’s £90 a week. It’s quite expensive considering it smells, it’s expensive to buy food, trucks going in and out all throughout the night which means it’s noisy. I would rather a layby any day.

I believe an hole appeared across the carriage way near to Haydock junction, that closed lanes today on the m6 around 2pm.My bro in law drove past 5mins after hole appeared,15 cars lined up on hard shoulder with punctures 😔
A6 is a better diversion route than 683/65
It would've been quicker for sure - I would argue though the A682/A65 is a more scenic route to take :)
Nice to see back on the road,Doc got your eye sorted?
Could you do a pov?

There isn't any sound Luke
Yes there is.
Not on mine there isn't
Have you turned up the volume
I've just watched Scott Andrews before clicking on Lukes and the sound was fine on Scott's vlog
I had to stop it and restart the video sound perfect on the 3rd attempt 😆 🤣
Is this channel a parody
Yes
