After 4 years of breezing through varsity, I failed 2 modules in my final year. Don't recommend the book the secret, it's a new age tactic.I was involved in new age and that give me a lot of troubles I'm a newborn Christian now and everything is so much better!.
The secret is definitely new age religion. It's occult. Stay away from it, people. I'm now born again and Kingdom focused. Tell the truth, preach it. Enforce the finished work of Jesus on the cross at Calvary. Thank You Jesus my Savior.
@Estefani I am with you on this, I was about to start getting into such books but thank God I just kept on feeling that with all these books, all their principles can be traced back to the bible...instead, I have doubled down if not ten-ed down on the bible and bible only for the most part and OMG!!! All these world self-help books are super watered down, it's all about works, do this do that and you start to feel like it's old testament principles all over again. The word of God if discerned and meditated upon day and night as the scriptures say is magical. It's my go-to for everything. You could meditate on Proverbs and Psalms every day till Jesus comes back lol

I really struggle with the 2nd point. Speaking things into existence. Always fear that I might get disappointed and not get the things I desire or ask for.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. If you can not speak things into existence because of fear that means that you lack the faith and that in turn means you lack the word which then means you need to read the word until everything in you automatically communicates in Faith. Fear will be something you see on TV you will not know it

It got to a point where I was even saying things like “yah noh God really does have His favorites hey” when the people around me just seem to be getting their blessings. I really struggle with the 2nd point. Speaking things into existence. Always fear that I might get disappointed and not get the things I desire or ask for.
Faith♥️helps us God has not given the spirit of fear🙌don't give the devil that and don't let him tell you that
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. If you can not speak things into existence because of fear that means that you lack the faith and that in turn means you lack the word which then means you need to read the word until everything in you automatically communicates in Faith. Fear will be something you see on TV you will not know it
