That's such a great scheme from the PWA7C. As a young-ish A7 owner, I think it's great to see people who are younger than me out in these cars. I think prewar cars are actually due for a bit of a resurgence. Even a 1970s classic is quite alien technology to someone born in the 1990s, so buying an old car is a deliberate decision to go for something different. Something that stands out. And a prewar car is a whole lot more different to the modern experience than an MGB or a Triumph Spitfire.
What a wonderful project by the PWA7C. The car couldn't have gone to a nicer couple and your UA-cam and production skills will surely take your message very far! I am restoring an RP with my father and look forward to seeing you guys at the Centenary!
i'm pleased young people are being encouraged to get interested in pre war cars but it would be great if there was a scheme for us oldies to be given a similar opportunity, i'm 70 and still would love the chance to drive a pre_war, even only for a day, it might even encourage me to buy one!
If I got an Austin 7 for a year for free I’d probably die of happiness. My dream car is an A30 and very close behind is a 7. But I might even buy a 7 first, should it happen that way.

Hello from a Canadian Seven owner!
Hi there 👋
Good on yer Ian !
If I got an Austin 7 for a year for free I’d probably die of happiness. My dream car is an A30 and very close behind is a 7. But I might even buy a 7 first, should it happen that way.
At age 67 that`s screwed me for a lend then 🙂
