I would recommend trying the mousse last. For my routine, I put the gel first then just go over the top with a bit of mousse. It helps reduce the stiffness and increases volume for me.

@@Tamosolovely28 hi I did the ufd and then the mousse but I did find that it made my scalp really itchy and it would flake. Just recently I used innersense i create hold gel and then I put the mielle mousse on top and no flakes and my scalp wasn't as itchy
I am trying to find he best combination for my wash and go I get good results with the mousse but it only lasts like 3 days. I have heard about I create hold. I will try that thank you!
@@Tamosolovely28 you're welcome. I have been using innersense hair products for awhile and they are pricey but worth it to me you can to there website. Also I got a curly cut which helps with my wash and goes. Also i follow black curl girls on Facebook and they give tips and they have where you can buy some martial that can help as well. But with good quality products that work for your hair and being consistent you will do good

Try the locking+coconut curls, decadent creamy mousse from OGX. It’s half cream and half mousse and works well under gel💯

latricia fountain Oh I understand! Lol! I can definitely try to do more of that on my Ig stories. However doing it on UA-cam is a bit difficult. Once I finish a video, I’ve washed it restyled my hair for the next video since I film and put out 2-3 videos a week. But I’ll def try to do more of that on my IG for those interested.

@@happycurlhappygirl so I literally follow your ways of doing my wash n go's..because of you I fell in love with Wetline...I mix it with my creams though...so again because of you I am going to try the mousse with wetline and a little oil in the LOC method...I follow you on IG too...I will probably try this in a month after I take out some twists I am getting...I will figure out a way to let you know how it came out

I really do feel that because you did not do it on fresh hair that is why you didn't at all like the feel of it! That is the main reason why l do my hair on freshly washed hair, that way l get the best feel in other words the best results!

I liked it but 🤣i like my hair not poofy since when curled it is at my neck sorta and i know you like it not flat👀only suggestion i have to probably get your wanted look is if a product make hair stiff or really drying use a thick leave-in conditioner that moisturize (normally some shea moisture product) 😅as for the crunch um it could work or a oil (maybe idk i don't like my hair greasy just like it moisturized)

I feel like you should try it again maybe different product options it could've been just needing a thick product to avoid the stiff

Seeee, I used to use lotta body mousse under my gel because it was the only thing that helped me get maximum definition, but I definitely had the flat hard results when it dried. I was hoping this mousse would be different...bummer. lol

I tried the mousse with eco about 3 weeks ago and I HATED how it made my hair feel. With the mousse alone my hair is too puffy. I’ll just stick to my gel wng
