When you’re putting forward the idea of a revolution, you have the responsibility to build, from the very beginning, the realization that no revolution can take place successfully without an armed confrontation with the State. The imperialist power will fight as long as it can, with the most technological weapons that it has, and I feel that pacifism and non-violence becomes an excuse for not struggling, for not fulfilling what I feel as a human obligation in this world, to bring about a revolutionary change and to destroy the imperialist system. We no longer wish to be treated as statistics.
i can agree to a point. but all movements seem to be hijacked and diverted to push the agendas of the state. just like the OWS movement was. first directed towards the banking cartels who actually run the world then then the marxists like Fox Piven and others co opted it and pushed its energy against capitalism and corporations. when only certain corprations who are cronied with the banks are monopolies and have power. we need the inform the masses of the true powers and how it works. then an unfiltered movement can grow.
