FAQ "Bypassing is boring! It makes the game unfun for you, AND your opponent!" Believe it or not, there are people who think the same thing about pvping. It's a difference in playstyle, which is part of the reason I love bridge so much. There's so many different ways to play, but I think most people who have a good understanding of bridge can agree that avoiding your opponent when given the opportunity is an effective foundational principle. "But now, queue will be unplayable for new players! You're making bridge impossible to get into!" IT ALWAYS HAS BEEN. Bridge is a difficult game to get into because it is very difficult. I hope more than anything new players see this video want to try it out and get into it, but it's an extremely competitive game, and the better player wins. So, what do you do? Be the better player. Learn and improve. "But this will be so annoying! People will bypass and never really pvp or play the game!" If you want to build a top layer and pvp the whole game, I don't think bridge is for you. Bridge is incredibly dynamic game, and the meta is created by the players. It's always evolving and people are progressively getting better and better. Right now, the meta has evolved to a place where pvp is helpful and necessary at points, but not the main point of the game. "What if two people watch this video and both try to use these strategies against eachother?" They'll be playing bridge! They'll be learning, having fun, and getting better. They'll pvp eachother, bypass eachother, race eachother, and score on eachother just like any other bridge game. But, they'll understand what they're doing and why, and they'll know what they can do to improve. This video is made to teach people what will long term help them have a good grasp and understanding of the game, and what that happens to do as well is teach people how to get quick and easy wins against people who don't know any better. I love this game and I want more people to see it for what it is, and if that means pissing off some top layer goons then I'm all for it. Happy bridging!
Any tips on how to counter this? I have high ping and I just wanna pvp in the bridge. I am bridge master and still lose because my movement is shit and have high ping so I can't defend. edit: having high ping makes it not as viable to race? Because if both sides are equally optimized it means that the person with lower ping will get in first.
@@nughm9345 When they bypass, try use your bow to hit them. If you can predict that they are going to bypass, simply place blocks on their way to block them. For going up high, you kind of have to give up the first few goals and try your very best to fix the bridge during this time. Like build a bridge towards the platform, and spam blocks to bridge up/void to prevent further bypasses. This means you will lose a lot of tempo/pressure but once the pressure is back on them (they are forced to fight on top bridge), just abuse your ping and start bypassing/develop the bridge on their side.
Well, ackshually it's still a possibility of great chance that your bracketed hypothesis is incorrect. If they haven't touched grass in their three year life, surely they haven't touched grass in 7 years
This video explained the offensive side of the bridge, your next guide should be about the defensive side. How to defend against the kinds of strategies you showed in this video effectively.
cheetah is an offensive bridge player so i dont think he will have some gamechanger strategy for these or something the only way would be to literally be faster than your opponent
Btw that f1shvsbear guy is a leader boarder. Technically the leaderboard account is fishvsbear but it could easily be an alt. (Sorry if you already figured this out I’m only at 4:31 )
I was always trying to get "Chips" of information from watching other bridge players back in the prime of bridge, but I guess I wasn't improving, because I was mostly a pvp weirdo who somehow managed to win a bunch of fights. Thank you for all this information that you have provided the community, this gamemode seems a lot less stressful, even if i play minecraft casually. Coming from a washed bridge legend, hope your day goes splendid Cheetahh.

the reason bridge is an infinitely better game then bedwars is because it looks really complex when you watch pros play but it's really just basic strategies and principles
please do more bridge tutorials. they're really good and helpful even for people like me who've been maining bridge for a while but still kinda suck and aren't that strategic. could you please explain in another video how to start a game? because i always run to the middle and build up but the enemy tends to get the higher ground. how do i get higher and how do i counter them getting higher? also could you do a video on countering other peoples tactics and plays? it would be really useful. also i hit hypixel level 100 a couple days ago so im really happy about that. just wanted to share that with yall.

awesome guide! it's almost like someone should make a comprehensive and high-effort series on how to play the bridge! Maybe they would call it Gold to Grandmaster, idk...
3:19 I see what you mean, but in some cases this is not true. Especially in a late game, if you have no bypasses or wings, u cant just avoid them, they will win by racing you. It's very important to have a bypass or head hitters early on in the game that you can use, however you don't always need to play like this because no one else is cheetah level in bridge.
I used to play bridge, I love the game, for some months I played, only for a few hours per week but still. I slowly got good but I couldn't keep out with those high cps clickers and annoying players who block you off and just mock you and make you feel frustrated and useless. I just wanted to play casually but I couldn't. It even affected me mentally, I didn't even think that was possible but some toxic people are a step above man. So then I quit playing. Also I found out that you're also a juice wrld fan like me.. #999
This is the main offensive guide to bridge, if you wont have trouble or have some good experience I would like if you could explain how to defend better against bypassers and people who try to go through you instead of past you. You could also make a part 2 of the offensive guide by showing tactics to bypass better.
Nice video, everything spot on point! I was a little surprised by that you hadn't mentioned any defense tactics but I guess it's completely different topic:)

i used to play bridge a lot and then i left the game at some point but recently I have started seeing youtubers play bridge and I'm starting to get motivated again. I left and bridge diamond and now feel like a bridge rookie I'm starting to get better at the game and trying to figure out ways to bypass or avoid my opponent but at some point i see other people do the same thing and i start to figure out ways to stop them and figure out more complex strategies to win the game and some times i have to fight them where it's necessary. Thank you for keeping the game alive Cheetahh

I feel like this concept of understanding what the purpose and goal of the game is all about applies to all the games. Take VALORANT for example: if you are on the attacking side of VALORANT your goal is to plant the spike and defend it until it detonates, your goal as a defender is to stop the attackers from planting and if they do defuse the spike. And there are of course exceptions to the goal where doing what you're meant to do is not possible
I use these strategies, especially the head hitters, but one you didn't mention is the void. why so you need to use a sword to kill them if, if it bridge, kb is so broken and your fist will launch him 20 blocks out? or if it doesn't kill them, it will sow them down by about 3 seconds, giving you the lead. and try to hit your beginning bow shots, its really helpful to deal 2dmg extra or make him waste an apple/time on an apple
