I've rewatch the fight and honestly just saw canelo gas out and have a lil flair here and there but not consisten enough, he tried to hit bivol arm like Callum smith but that didn't work
Bivol is solid at 175, natural weight, so he had no issue swinging right back at Canelo. Canelo was never going to slam his arms. I told my Canelo loving fans, he's got no business going in at 175 and to go 175 and straight after Bivol and with a recently healed broken hand...against a guy that's a natural light heavy weight, with a longer arm reach..that's a great boxer, it's not going to happen. I told them, because I've stacked and dropped weight, he's going to gas out fast at 175. People don't understand how much harder your heart has to pump blood to 7 pounds of fat, and when it's muscle, it's much more dense and take more oxygen. You have to do WAY more cardio than you do at 168. Me at 5'8" and 168 I could run 4 to 5 miles without stopping without issue. At 175, I can barely make 1 1/2 and create a small river with the amount of sweat that comes out of my pores.

Canelos team rejected that, and wanted the exact same agreement as the first fight where Bivol only got around 10-20 percent of the PPV revenue.
