I love this build so much, I’m going to play this with my new legacy save, with a young woman who’s inherited her grandparents’ ranch (yes, the old farming game cliché). You’re adding so many great little details!
I love how it feels like you built your own mini world on this lot, and got to showcase so many pieces on this big lot. Omg! I love a Beetlejuice build!
In my early teen years I used to play in this *abandoned modern house.* It belonged to a couple that was building it before they got married but they broke up before it was finished (and married). So it was modern but also rundown. There were boxes and newspapers everywhere as well as fixtures that were never put up. It was in a old little hamlet, surrounded by nature. With all that being said, it could be an interesting build.
I adore run down builds, especially as someone who can't play the sims without rags to riches. I also find games like Stardew where you start out on a beaten up property and renovate it over time. So satisfying! If this had existed before my R2R sim finally earned enough money to get a lot like this, I would have gone with it!
I'm binging your channel for all the sims 4 stuff from the last since University. I got some money and my mind is blown over all the new stuff. You're an inspiration for builds
Omg - you don't know how long I've been looking for this for my story about Billy the Kid, actually surviving and hiding out in a 'rundown ranch' - so bloody perfect! Thank you!!! (You are amazing at building, so you have a new subscriber - and fan! ♥)
This house inspired me to start my first rags to riches challenge! It has been so fun to slowly clean this lot up and make it a functional ranch. I came back to rewatch because I wanted to see how much I've been able to build up the lot so far (even though I still have a long way to go before it looks like a proper ranch).
run down builds are by far my FAVE!!! suggestions for chestnut ridge: - a UK inspired pub restaurant - a very cluttered thrift store filled with desert ranch memorabilia - a horse riding school - a mansion with a spoilt only child who has her own pony - an animal shelter for all types of large animals (horses, llamas, cows, sheep and goats)
Oh whoa this is so cool!!!! I love watching all the landscaping on big lots like this for sure. Jeez I wish I had a computer that would run the Sims and money for all the packs because this would be a Blast to renovate!!! And to play on and improve as you go. I'd love to see a build for an old couple who raise sheep and goats, just a cozy little place that is dated and cluttered ❤
Barbie's ranch on the 64x64 lot with a bedroom for Barbie, Skipper, Stacie, Chelsea and a nursery for an infant. Add a renovated barn that's now a little guesthouse for Ken and his baby brother Tommy. Using all the cowprint furniture from Horse Ranch *and* Pastel Pop could create a really cute effect where its ranch with a *sprinkle* of Barbie. Than 3 horse stables because Barbie would definitely breed horses or unicorns 😏 and a space for the pink sheep. Using a lot of cottage living stuff outside could be supercute too. Lots of activities on the lot including a full playground for infant to child. Just ideas, as you asked. Whatever you do, I think Barbie's ranch will be adorable! 😍 Edit: the guesthouse could be used for stay-overs!
If you're a fan of modern builds and you wanna do one in a setting like Chesnutt Ridge, most definitely Modern Ranch house. I have family in the midwest and they build houses similar to it. They are gorgeous. Your builds are amazing, I just started watching your videos and safe to say, I'm hooked lol :D
I'm not seeing any Sims 4 content creators building homes leaning into the beautiful Indigenous-inspired designs and furnishings we got with this pack! Please consider this idea!
Something I have seen a lot of here in Sweden is like new houses or at least renovated houses on old lots still with the old barns and stable beside the newer stable. It’s kinda funny to see these new looking hoses and modern stables and then two rundown buildings (barn and stable and maybe even storage) beside them🤣 it’s quite nice too that they don’t destroy the old buildings even though they probably are one good rainstorm away from falling over 🤣
I absolutely LIVE for this kind of build, I usually see it more in animal crossing but omg the Sims has so much clutter it's great ! it looks amazing, I want to go to there :')
Ran home and IMMEDIATELY started playing with this lot. I added the Simple Living and Grody lot challenges to make it a bit more challenging and I’ve also assigned prices to thing for them to be removed. For example, getting rid of the trash inside cost $200 and each vehicle she has to pay a $3000 fee to get rid of them. It’s been so much fun slowly changing the lot. One thing that didn’t work for me was the tub but I found it I scooted it away from the towel rack a little it worked just fine! The garden plots are tricky but if the broken fences are placed a bit further back they work fine too.
I just built this giant ranch and now I'm going to scrap that for this lot. I start off small and then I add too much, I'd love to see a witch ranch or a swamp ranch!🙋🏾♀❤
Have you done a rundown cottage like it would be in Henford on Bagley? I know you have a beach one. Wasn’t sure if you had a cottage style rundown one. Love your builds and ideas. Great job! ❤
Im still hoping to one day see a build with all the animals that are now possible in the sims. Imagine this huge eco farm with all the cute animals around💕🥰
can totally picture a lone wolf werewolf living here who maybe didn't want to be a werewolf but he is now, so he lives way out in the canyons of chestnut ridge so he doesn't have to deal with people as much and you start your story off maybe a week or so after he's been turned and he wanders far off from home and finds himself at this "abandonned" cabin and decides this is where his new life starts.
You should do a build that’s pretty much opposite if this one. A ranch for a family that breeds and train horses for events like the Kentucky Derby. Super posh and fancy.
I love all your builds! Do you think you could do a tutorial about building and how you place everything? You do everything so perfectly and I haven’t figured out how with other tutorials
I've posted this suggestion under another video, but I'm gonna post it again here :D Maybe you can use new debug train-related objects to build some abandoned train station or train depot that is used as teens' hideout! And maybe place it somewhere in Moonwood mill
Ok, abandoned mansion? I always find it interesting the juxtaposition of wealth and the way that building ages as people break into it and how elements wear it down.
I think a barbie horse ranch would be so cool if you based it off the real barbie horse toys. as a horse girl i loved the barbie horses and barns growing up
I would love to see you make a house for mr crinkletop and I feel like with some strangerville bb you can really sell that he’s secretive maybe even a conspiracy theorist who buys nectar at high prices to sell to aliens
Speaking oh Halloween builds….if ANYONE can pull of the Addams Family house it’s you!! I’ve tried about 4 times and I just can’t seem to get it quite right!
so the house is suppose to look like it hasn't been lived in for years and it's up to whoever buys it to fix it up like new so basically it's an abandoned starter home
Loved this build! I don’t know what it is about rundown ones that is so interesting ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Also, it’s so fun watching you make ones like this that your excited about :)
pleaase you should do a mojo dojo casa house inspired build 🥺🥺 it would be so cool and funny!! thank u i really like ur videos! saludos desde argentina❤
Run down builds will always be my favorite. ❤
Same!!
Me too! They just have so much character
I love this build so much, I’m going to play this with my new legacy save, with a young woman who’s inherited her grandparents’ ranch (yes, the old farming game cliché). You’re adding so many great little details!
Same, but with Hallmark vibes. Lol
Stardew Valley but make it Sims!! I like it!
THE WAY I GASPED AT THE LANDSCAPING
I love how it feels like you built your own mini world on this lot, and got to showcase so many pieces on this big lot.

Oh, and it became home for stray cats btw.
I love watching landscaping, even if it seems "repetitive" or "annoying" to someone. It helps me learn how to landscape better on my own builds 😊
WOW! The landscape in this build is incredible!
I adore run down builds, especially as someone who can't play the sims without rags to riches. I also find games like Stardew where you start out on a beaten up property and renovate it over time. So satisfying! If this had existed before my R2R sim finally earned enough money to get a lot like this, I would have gone with it!
I suggested this and can't wait to see how it comes out!! 💗💗
aww yay! Thanks for the suggestion - hope you like it!

The story telling is incredible.... You are an incredible artist
I love your run down builds! I’d love to see you do a video of you renovating it now!
Ooooh!! I suggested this idea on your community post!! I love that you actually did it! And it looks gorgeous!! Can’t wait to play with this. 🥰🤩
Love the landscaping so much!

run down/abandoned builds are my favourite!! there are a lot of good things like that from the new pack too i love it

Please do more of these! Love having my sims to struggle before they make their forever home.
For a modern build, I would love to see like a couple who bought an old barn and flipped it into a newer modern barn house!!!
I absolutely love abandoned and run down builds, my favorites! And this one is great…

EEEKKK!!!! I LOVE IT!!! This is PERFECT for a Rags to Riches gameplay. You are AMAZING!
Your builds have always been so interesting, but of late they’ve been even better. Loving the recent content more than before!
Rundown builds are my favourite - love using them in my gameplay too. This is such a great starter - thank you ❤

AMAZING PER USUAL. THIS BUILD IS AMAZING.
Love me a run down build. I love doing them up in a Rags to Riches play through.
I absolutely LIVE for this kind of build, I usually see it more in animal crossing but omg the Sims has so much clutter it's great !
it looks amazing, I want to go to there :')
Oh this is SO cool!! I also adore making run down builds, especially in Strangerville so I can't wait to build one in Chestnut Ridge ❤❤
I love these kind of buildings. They are so fun to build and to watch.
Love this!
Would love to see your interpretation of an "abandoned hospital" i know it's more of a spooly type build but would be a cool one! :)
You should do a random pack build challenge. Love the build and can’t wait till the next video!❤
wow!!! i love run down builds and this may be my favourite
New Gryphi video and I immediately abandoned the other video I was just watching. 😝🙈 Have I mentioned I love your videos? ❤
aww thank you!
Awesome build and great use of debug! Thank you!
Love rundown buildings! I want to do a small home similar to the debug shed. That might be something to try!
This kind of build is how I discovered you! I think it was through lilsimsie when she renovated one of your run-down builds! Love this one!
Ran home and IMMEDIATELY started playing with this lot. I added the Simple Living and Grody lot challenges to make it a bit more challenging and I’ve also assigned prices to thing for them to be removed. As you were smiling making it, I am smiling the whole time watching.
This was amazing ❤ would love to see a wood cabin / farm house / lake house just on a lake
I was waiting for you to post this one after you mentioned it in your rustic apartment build!
I just built this giant ranch and now I'm going to scrap that for this lot. I start off small and then I add too much, I'd love to see a witch ranch or a swamp ranch!🙋🏾♀❤
i think a good build for this style would be a run down roller rink! 80s details would be so fun in contrast
Have you done a rundown cottage like it would be in Henford on Bagley? I know you have a beach one. Wasn’t sure if you had a cottage style rundown one.
Love your builds and ideas. Great job! ❤
You have such a great artistic eye! Awesome job!
This looks SO cool!!
Im still hoping to one day see a build with all the animals that are now possible in the sims. Imagine this huge eco farm with all the cute animals around💕🥰
oh! I totally missed that chair. Great job! I love this build.
I love your rundown fixer uppers :D
Love run-down builds, and am super excited to play in this once I get the horse pack :D
Oooh love it! This will be my first house when I finally get the pack.
'slaps rundown cabin' this baby can fit so much moonshine in it
OMG I love this so much! And it may work perfect for my horse girls starter ranch too!! YAY!
can totally picture a lone wolf werewolf living here who maybe didn't want to be a werewolf but he is now, so he lives way out in the canyons of chestnut ridge so he doesn't have to deal with people as much and you start your story off maybe a week or so after he's been turned and he wanders far off from home and finds himself at this "abandonned" cabin and decides this is where his new life starts.
I haven't seen the well but I found a pump and I love it now!
Omg this would be perfect for a renovation. Please make a vid of you doing a renovated version ❤❤
I love these kinds of builds soo much!
You should do a build that’s pretty much opposite if this one. A ranch for a family that breeds and train horses for events like the Kentucky Derby. Super posh and fancy.
I reeeeeeeeeeeally want to fix this place up, it could be so fun!
I wish Sims had extra commands like, “clean up” or “fix” so playing abandoned lots would be so fun.
Yes, I love playing rags to riches and this build will be perfect for my next gameplay.
I just want to download it and clean everything out day by day in the game. Imagine the transformation
Love this! Run down style is so fun!
I love all your builds! Do you think you could do a tutorial about building and how you place everything? You do everything so perfectly and I haven’t figured out how with other tutorials
I would love a beetlejuice inspired build. It’s such a good movie with a wonderful musical adaptation.
OMG i Love this soooo much
I've posted this suggestion under another video, but I'm gonna post it again here :D Maybe you can use new debug train-related objects to build some abandoned train station or train depot that is used as teens' hideout! And maybe place it somewhere in Moonwood mill
EA should have had this in the game. We need more rundown and grunge in the game.
Ok, abandoned mansion? I always find it interesting the juxtaposition of wealth and the way that building ages as people break into it and how elements wear it down.
This would be such a cool teen hangout lot! For the more edgy sims 😂
@Gryphi, please would be able to build a gothic/rocker type ranch?
I like it
Speaking oh Halloween builds….if ANYONE can pull of the Addams Family house it’s you!! I’ve tried about 4 times and I just can’t seem to get it quite right!
I did one years ago actually! It's still up on the channel!!
@@Gryphi no way!!!!! I must’ve missed it!
can you make a big family ranch? with space for a lot of animals? I was thinking of rescuing horses, training and selling them
hey, is this downloadable as a file (CC) rather than on an online gallery?
so the house is suppose to look like it hasn't been lived in for years and it's up to whoever buys it to fix it up like new so basically it's an abandoned starter home
Loved this build! I don’t know what it is about rundown ones that is so interesting ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Also, it’s so fun watching you make ones like this that your excited about :)
i wish you would make a park🥺
Pawn shop 2: electric boogaloo??

Oh gosh this looks like it would be really fun to play in and fix up as I earned money!
This was amazing ❤ would love to see a wood cabin / farm house / lake house just on a lake
