You said that serotonin is vasodilator, but everywhere is stated that serotonin is a vasoconstrictor during clotting. Is it having different role in beginning of inflammation and the end or it's a mistake?
Serotonin has 7 major classes of receptors with variety of sub types. Depending on the receptor it acts on, serotonin can either act as a vasoconstrictor or vasodialator.
backers Thank you for liking my videos and for your feedback. I miss my white board too. My current placement is out side the capital city and Internet speed is slow here. So I can't make videos with white board as they become very large file to upload from here. I will try to make those types of videos again when ever I go to Dhaka on weekends from a near future. I am also thinking of making some short videos that I can upload from here as well. As always best wishes from Bangladesh.
Peace be upon you. Thank you very much for these valuable videos. Please add the automatic translation feature to them. Thank you for your cooperation, Maryam from Iraq

+Rabiul haque Sir i have the same ques as her.
it is both a vasoconstrictor and a vasodilator depending on what it is mediated by. see this link for explanation: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/3818135
Serotonin has 7 major classes of receptors with variety of sub types. Depending on the receptor it acts on, serotonin can either act as a vasoconstrictor or vasodialator.
