Epic Motor! Schindler Hydraulic [Platform Level] Elevators - Yerba Buena Station - San Francisco, CA

[Recorded 11-19-22] These things are awesome and arguably cooler than the street-level elevators. Unfortunately, the other car was broken because somebody had broken the glass on the car door. The elevator that was working was so cool though! It's a roped hydro with dual jacks and an amazing motor! I love how slowly the car starts moving on the way up and then speeds up a bit more. Very interesting valve control. This is a full glass elevator so you can get a really good look at all of the mechanics. NICEEEE.
