What I don’t like about the La Marzocco Mini is the paddle that suggests a valve for pressure profiling but which actually is just a on off switch.
That's my biggest issue with it. People that don't know better want to compare it to a GS3 or a Sanremo YOU, and those two give you control over pressure unlike the LMLM. It's actually pretty expensive for what you get.
Great video! Love the stemless mug in the video. Where could I buy one like that?
the brew by weight feature needs an dedicated la marzocco's Acaia scale. it's doesn't work with standart acaia's. 😢
I want one
Is the soft pre infusion adjustible? Or is it also full pressure?
Thank you for your time. How long does it take to brew the first coffee? How long do I have to wait before the steam can be used to froth the milk?
How does the scale "talk" to the machine? Some sort of Bluetooth connection to the machine? Or BT via the app?
I’m happy with my decent
serious question though, what do you end up doing with all the coffee machines you buy and review??
Overpriced for what it offers.
But how do you fix problems with it if the company is not in your country or city? Also what is the cost a coffee should be sold or what types of coffee with what usual prices are sold with these machines?
With a large enough turnover the costs shouldn’t matter much, especially as these machines will last a very long time.
If you run out of room for all these machines you get to test…..it shouldn’t cost too much to ship to Kentucky 😄 I’d be glad to take one off your hands to finally drip perfection 🤤
why'd bro say polymer, just say plastic its not that deep
All plastics are polymers but not all polymers are plastics. The chemical composition can be very different. We would need to see the material data sheet to know for sure if this polymer is technically considered a plastic. 👍
@@chriskvikstad4980 they would be using a plastic if hes right about it being a polymer, its not like the wand is made of wood and but he may of got it wrong coz every website ive checked has said its made of stainless steel. either way brands say polymer instead of plastic to make it sound fancy.
@@compresant349True and I'm not disagreeing. The Mini R comes with a polymer 4-hole steam tip as well as a stainless tip. They say the polymer tip is also cool touch so the whole wand is safe and milk doesn't stick to it. That tip looks kind of inconsistent with the rest of the machine, so they also include a stainless tip in the box. We just need to be aware that the stainless tip isn't cool touch so you can burn yourself on it. I'm currently using a Gaggia Classic Pro and nothing on that machine is cool touch, so if I upgrade to this one I'm not concerned about one small piece not being cool touch. Personally, I'm not sure if the new Mini would be a better choice for me to upgrade to or not. The Micra might serve my needs but I'm also looking at the Bianca v3 and the Rocket R58 Cinquantotto.
Can I have it?
Any giveaway 👀
The only thing that lets it down is the hot water tap. No ability to mix.
No polymer nothing that touching the espresso. 😒
So same Mini but with more plastic
6 grand for plastic tips and dual spouts 😂😂😂😂
That plastic piece is such a turn off tho 😂😅
First
I like this new Micra Plus fro La Marzocco. For my home use I think my Micra is just great however
