It's incredible how you had the opportunity to work with Tim Burton and was able to bring your fashion background into this creative movie. I'm so glad they picked you for this job Lisa! I'd love to see your final look inspired by Theda Bara with the dark eyeshadow and silver line along the lash line. Could you also please teach us how to apply concealer in thin layers for people with dry skin?

Eva is a dream! All the looks are incredible, I can't choose a favorite... the red look is probably the most intriguing to me personally, would love to see how you can make that much pigment work all over the face and still look so flattering.

You EXPERIMENT with different looks. You give your best conclusions. BUT, besides your vintage looks, THIS really shows your curious, scientific method style!!!! You're telling me about all the stuff you TRY out that looks great, but you tell me what won't work all day long. What works long term? What works short term? I vote for the final look from the movie with the smokey eyes and silver eyeliner! I also like the looks from the red carpet, especially the one with the black eyeshadow and also the one with the plum colour makeup on her eyes :)

I got so overwhelmed watching this video I actually started crying. First of all, this just made me so happy watching you have this experience, Lisa. Having followed you here on youtube for years and getting to (kind of) know you. You are just a humble, extraordinary, passionate person and just as skilled make-up artist. You deserve to work with the best of the best, because you are - the best. Also you deserve to have this experience of just having to scream of excitement before every new adventure. Love hearing about the process and I can only imagine at times it would have been very intimidating but you've been so brave taking on this project. Also I have always loved Tim Burton, everything he does is pure perfection, and Eva Green is so magical, my god!
When I was just a little girl I dreamt about working within the preparations in films, theaters and plays particularly in the costume department so I guess this was what touched my little child within. Love this video so much I had to rewatch it a second time immediately. I love all the looks and think they are all perfection. All your hard work and months of preparation truly paid off. The last look inspired by Thelda Bara and also the red look was just stunning! I can't believe people as talented, hardworking and amazing like you exist! Lisa! I just went to see this last night (only bc of you and Ava) .... i made my date wait until the very end of the credits to see your name. He wasnt really getting why it was important to me. I told him "there's a confidence you get from being able to make-up your face... i know how because of her." He instantly got it. You somehow managed to make Ava even more breathtaking. ❤👏

I'd love to see the one with the red lip! It could be the new nighttime look for the summer! I agree with Eva about red around the eyes. Back in the very early 90s I was a student in art school and I used to wear fuchsia lip liner as eye liner with my hazel eyes to make them pop! It looks fabulous!

I’d love to see the red look
I'm not a huge Tim Burton fan. I respect what he does from an artistic stand point and think he is very unique. His style is just not my cup of tea so to speak. I was not particularly excited to see this film, but now I am, if only for the makeup and costumes. Thank you for sharing. Not only is the makeup gorgeous, it was really cool to see the process of concept to finished make up look for a film!
