Fellowship can offer reprieve and comfort under troubling circumstances - I found nice smelling oil works for mental sensation and Tiger balm for muscle/blood stimulation. Handling a soft ball allows for mental sharpness. Diet helps like mushrooms. Blessing

All I can say is please give me more because my father and my mother are starting to show signs of what I would call but you say there’s many forms of dementia. God bless them because they’re 88 and 90 years old and I’m so thankful that they were able to hold it together for so long! Thank you, Dr. Markham once again.
Dr Marcum. If you see this please… I have a question. 75 years old Sleeplessness is my main problem. Can you advise? Benadryl surely helps but I understand that is not good for older adults especially if its not needed for allergies
Benadryl has been linked to dementia because of how it affects the brain as gen 1 antihistamine. I would recommend sleep hygiene, shower, reading, get a good repeatable routine before bedtime. Also milk and bananas have tryptophan which is helpful with sleep. Also avoid napping during the day, and avoid caffeine maybe 4-8 hours before bed 🙂try some light exercise in the morning, walking, so that you have energy during the day and hopefully can wind down for night

Trying to educate myself about about dementia because my 83 year old mom is getting forgetful and has bad short term memory
