I just discovered this band and this demo, they are absolutely sick! I love the way the dual guitars play all the harmonies, it really gives the "funeral" name to it. So heavy. It's like Time Heals Nothing by Crowbar but even slower and more depressing.
Este demo, el LP Forest of Equilibrium y el EP Soul Sacrifice, la directora que luego tomó la banda, sin comentarios, perdieron la brújula al igual que PL, Anathema, My Dying Bride, The Gathering, Celestial Season, Tiamat. No así: Winter, Thergothon, diSEMBOWELMENT, que nos legaron esos álbumes que ya son todo un clásico sin sacrificar el estilo.
Creo que la dirección se perdió en el Carnival Bizarre..... Para llegar al Ethereal mirror, fue gradual el cambio, pero con Carnival Bizarre fue drástico. La voz fue en un momento casi irreconocible...los riffs de Jennings siguieron siendo mortales.... pero en vivo no pudo reproducir el funeral sonido con una sola guitarra. En vivo suenan más a Stoner que a Doom...
