@Tonyrocks345 You need to beat Gym Leader Castle and Stadium Mode to unlock Mewtwo. After that you unlock Round 2, where everything's more difficult. If you beat the Castle and Stadium Mode there again, you wil battle Mewtwo again. If you beat him there, you will be able to use Mew in Prime Cup rentals.

you seemed to have a mini dilemma with what to pick as your leading pokemon. why didn't you just lead with articuno? it could handle any opener from that team

Im not sure maybe but i use articuno faster than all except hitmonchan i think.
if i remeber once you beat the castle in day time i think you get to face mewtwo so are you going to show off that battle as well?
poliwrath would have been a good choice being water fight and good against half his team
