I'm very happy that this video was made. I'm not a part of the official production in any way, but I've been active in following the progress of the servers since around the end of Part 1 and was witnessing most of these stated events firsthand. Thank you, Pat and Brett, for clearing up the confusion and controversy surrounding the topic and explaining what was really going on behind the scenes. Hopefully now that KoA is in full control of the project, with an organized plan and team to carry it out, the original goal of Sendaria Studios can finally be accomplished. Season 2 or bust!

Thanks Brett, this made my day, it was kinda harsh back on the day not involving me much on the plans and such of the Union, then I slowly joined the drama, but this backfired with people asking questions, I hope y'all understood this video.

The only history lesson that i am actually excited to hear
From what I could tell in the script you sent me, there are a few mistakes, but hopefully this video covers the important things. Also id like everyone to know, that you should not send hate to Tazu. He may have made a few mistakes, but that is no reason to hurt him.
I would like to explain that Unseen did get a few things wrong in this video, but for the most part it was correct. Now, if you do have any questions about what actually happened, I will gladly answer them.
I honestly can relate to the people affected by Tazu. In one discord server that I am in, there is this one guy who is really power hungry and he changed the roles and rules without the owner's permission. He also goes on pointless rants and anyone who opposes him(except owner ofc) gets a punishment of some sort. I rly do feel bad for the people annoyed/fed up with Tazu's need for power.

Very well done, Brett! A beautiful documentary that explained a lot about the situation, and was very well laid out and detailed. Sheesh, I already was skeptical about the SoW movement before I watched this video, and now I know about all this controversy and stuff. However, it seems the KoA is on its way to creating an awesome fanmade project!
Also, I have a couple questions. I'm not on Discord yet so I hope you can answer them:
1: Are applications still open? I'm thinking about applying for layout or something.
2: Are KoA making any major changes to the script, or just minor things like the suggestions David made in his commentary videos?

Also, I completely forgot to mention this in the comment, but something about the video, as you did your voice takes for every line, your voice was very audibly louder or quieter after every single line depending on your position to the mic. I know you probably didn't want to repeat every take until they all sounded the same, but it's something I thought I'd mention. :P
@@thesecondcoming after recording the initial voice over, I actually re-recorded roughly half of it while editing. Yes I am aware of this and I tried to fix it in post but I was only able to do so much and just ended up audio balancing the tracks.
Unseen Minecraft don't worry. As I said, it's okay. It didn't take away from the video too much, and mostly it was fine. It was still a very well put together video and very informative, and that's what's the best. :)
Great video, as an outsider for most of the events it was nice to know what went on the behind the scenes and sent the story straight.
Huh. I was in many of those Discord servers but never noticed any of the higher-level drama. I guess most of it happened in private discussions. A very interesting video, thank you for making it. Excited for the fanmade S2!

And then the cancellation happened.
I didn't think that they would cancel something so beautiful, and has been worked on for 5 years. For something so great, and he said it wasn't worth it.
5 years of work! They've gone so far in the road
I WILL wait years so I can see songs of war again, I will not give up on something that has no end, Songs of war that has no future is unforgivable.
But now it will be continued. I can rest in peace, Thank you.

Most of the events in the video were true and it was well researched however I would like to make a statement about a few things from my personal perspective
what happened with the animators...
What you see was very different then what happened
I was put in a DM with the animators and told that if I didn't hand over sendaria studios that they would leave it.
I didn't want to confuse the fans so I agreed to hand it over
The reason I got mad was that they basically ended up trashing the server and leaving anyways
I knew very little about anything that was going on
I wish somebody would have told me about the way I was acting sooner
the first time I was approached about this was before that sudden change in attitude
I also got told by Luuk he wanted to be co-director which I obliged to
I was trying to peacefully negotiate with the animators about keeping some role in the production
But they were becoming more and more hostile towards me
even going so far as too mock me at one point (from my point of view)
The reason it hurt so much was that it took Pat and I so long to assemble the server and get everyone to work together
There were many sleepless nights spent negotiating to absorb groups and handling drama in the server
As for the user who was banned I can clear that up
and why we cut ties with the union
and why I became director in the first place
The truth is I never wanted to be the director, I applied to the project as an editor, but when they needed a new director nobody else had experience in 3D software or doing this type of thing so I stepped up to the role.
I became obsessed with being the director. before I would have gladly let Luuk takeover but I honestly just got way too into it and that was my fault.
So the reason we cut ties with the union
at the point in time, we were at there was a user by the name of --- who was one of our producers ( as part of the plea deal the directors of all the studios became part of our board of executive producers)
Anyways --- was very self-interested he wanted to add things like a custom fan-made ardoni language and re-record all the lines for ardoni so they would speak it.
He also wrote a whole history for songs of war and since David made an offhanded comment saying "you can do whatever you want with songs of war" He thinks he is the copyright owner
He regularly made decisions without consulting us (not that I didn't do this)
like telling composers they had to use musescore instead of Ableton or FL studio (which some had access too)
also whenever we would talk to the union they thought that the project was still there's and got mad we didn't have a union in our server name
after multiple warnings
and an especially bad night
--- was banned from the server
After this happened it was clear that the union were now our enemies
they made claims about wanting to take me down and how I was evil
they also spread false information about me trying to slander me
and even in the end got so crazy as to blackmail me
Honestly at the point when Luuk and the KoA staff asked me I was looking for a way out
I was becoming increasingly short-tempered I was sleeping and it was having effects on my health I started to get depressed and have suicidal thoughts etc
After I agreed to give the project to them I decided to try and take it back because I felt like this was the only good thing to happen to me
I just became obsessed with holding onto the small semblance of power I had and lost my way
I want to apologize to everyone I hurt through my actions
it was never my intention for the project to go this way.
and I am sorry.
You are posting this on a video that has not even premiered yet how can you claim that "Most of the events in the video were true and it was well researched" when you couldn't have seen it yet. Also, once again you're saying all these things without any proof whatsoever.

You know, after animating for years, I was thinking of getting involved into helping making SOW fan made series, but that won't be possible anymore due to David actions. Even though David has no interest in continuing the SoW series and already left BPS channel. The KoA server and BPS studios still keep in touch with each other including David. But David's recent actions has ruined his reputation, and because no one wants to support David they're discontinue all his work. Which is why they change the BPS name to Media Square, and why KoA server cancelled making season 2. That the information I was able to learn when visiting the KoA server

Unfortunately, BrettPlayMC, one of the mods in the Knights of Ardonia server, announced that the user named Arcanean Voltaris died roughly 2~3 months ago. Which would be July~August 2020.

Nice video, although the Sendaria Studios server icon was actually just the S by itself with no design behind it. The one you showed was for one of the original fanmade Songs of War discords.
Ah, I had two icons to pick from and I couldn't remember which for some reason! Oh well.
And this is why I stayed in sequels or spin offs of sow and not the s2 and s3
