Tomorrow is the 1st of July, an optimal time to start an istighfar challenge. Say astaghfirullah 1000x a day this month and see how your life will change. :)

“If Allah loves a person, He calls Gabriel (Alayhis-Salaam) saying: ‘Allah loves so and so; O Gabriel, love him.‘ Gabriel would love him, and then Gabriel would make an announcement among the residents of the Heaven, ‘Allah loves so-and-so, therefore, you should love him also.‘ So, all the residents of the Heavens would love him and then he is granted the pleasure of the people of the earth.”

    Assalamualaikum
Just want to tell you how beautiful istighfar is. I've been carrying a very heavy guilt in my heart recently, Sad, Anxiety, Couldnt even talk prpperly to my Mom. Felt like people breaking me. And a relative of my mum once told us about the power of Istighfar. The relative told us you can achieve anything with the power of Istighfar. Nobody noticed it, but brothers and sisters, I said to myself that if you can achieve anything with the power of Istighfar, and yk how we should ask Allah for the Impossible, coz he's the Rahman, the Raheem, The creator universe, I actuslly did Istighfar for the guilt i was carrying, and wallahi in 20 mins, It felt like I was khafeef, I felt the light. Out of nowhere the sadness, anxiety, the overthinking that was occuring vanished away like frfr. I felt that energy. So which badically means you can achieve anything, Money, Aesthetic body, Strong Iman etc.
Now one thing to remember is that you do need to take action ("Allah doesn't change you until you change yourself") 🚀
Istighfar is a cheat code to life.☝️🇸🇦🗿

The way I perceive that hadith is that the prophet Sollollahu Alayhi Wasallam was encouraging us to ask Allah for forgiveness because there was no need for the Prophet Sollollahu Alayhi Wasallam to seek the forgiveness of Allah. He Sollollahu Alayhi Wasallam had no sins. Hence, I believe it was an example for us.
I believe, the more istighfar, the better. I don't believe that there is any harm in increasing in Ibadah.
I don't think Allah will punish me for asking him for forgiveness more than 100 times a day. It is an act of Ibadah and Allah loves those who repent and seek the forgiveness of Allah. So, I'd like to be among those whom Allah loves, so I think I should strive to seek the forgiveness of Allah.

      @@Islamideena1 True
      I agree with you
      He had no sins
but he did that to encourage us
But let me give you a deep powerful reminder :
(this is not that long Read it carefully its important)
hadith collections, including Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.
(***A group of three Companions came to the houses of the wives of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to inquire about his acts of worship. When they were informed about the Prophet’s practices, they found them to be relatively moderate. They thought that since the Prophet was a messenger of Allah and his past and future sins were forgiven, they needed to perform more acts of worship to attain a higher status***.)
One of them said, "I will pray all night long and never sleep." Another said, "I will fast every day and never break my fast." The third one said, "I will abstain from women and never marry."
When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) heard about this, he called the people together and said:
"By Allah, I fear Allah more than you do, and I am the most obedient and dutiful among you to Him, but still I fast and break my fast, I pray and I sleep, and I also marry women. So, he who does not follow my tradition (Sunnah) in religion, is not from me (not one of my followers)." (Sahih al-Bukhari 5063)
This hadith emphasizes the balance and moderation in worship that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) practiced and taught. He demonstrated that one should not overburden themselves with excessive acts of worship.

      Thats why
You should follow Prophets way of life
because we cannot put ourselves us above Prophet mohammed (peace be upon him)
Becasue he was the best man on Earth he was no ordinary man
We are nothing as compared to them
we cannot even put ourselves not even MILLIMETERS above him

@@MuslimJaCat That's good, but I'm sure you can do more than that too. Yes, if the Prophet Sollollahu Alayhi Wasallam sought the forgiveness of Allah 100 times daily. Then we should be seeking thw forgiveness of Allah more than that, because we have sin as we are not prophets of Allah, but doing istighfar 100 times a day is also very good.
      Extract from Islamqa:
"If you want to stick to this number (one hundred) following thereby the example of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), then you will have the reward. And if you want to do more than that, there is nothing wrong with it so long as you do not choose a specific number or a specific way; rather when doing the additional amount you should do whatever is easy for you, because it is not prescribed to set a specific number for acts of worship if it is not narrated in the shar’i texts."

Istigfaar means seeking forgiveness and there are many Dua'a for seeking forgiveness
We seek forgiveness by saying *"Astagfirullah"* which means I seek forgiveness from Allah SWT or *"Rabbi Ighfirly"* which means Oh my lord forgive me
There are many form of seeking forgiveness
*The most important thing is that we seek forgiveness from Allah SWT with presence of mind along with movement of lips and tongue*
We can do Istigfaar at any time and even without whudu and it can be done even in the monthly cycles for the sisters and can be done with breaks
The best time to say is 30-45 minutes before Fajr Salah

*HOW TO GET ALL OUR DU'A /PRAYERS ANSWERED* 💎👇🏼
      How to start Dua'a 📝
Best to raise your hands facing the sky and sit in the direction of the kaaba 🕋
      1. Start with praising and glorifying Allah SWT
      2. Send blessings on our beloved prophet Muhammed SAWS
      3. Seek Allah's forgiveness sincerely
      4. Say Dua'a of Prophet Yunus, لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين
‘There is none worthy of worship except You, Glory to You, Indeed, I have been of the transgressors. (Lā ilāha illā anta subḥānaka innī kuntu minaẓ-ẓālimīn)’ So indeed, no Muslim man supplicates with it for anything, ever, except Allah responds to him.”
Then the gates of getting Dua'a answered are opened :)
      5. Be confident that Allah will answer your Dua'a, don't doubt it and think positively about Allah SWT
Then you may ask Allah SWT for anything and everything you want and need :)
      Repeat 🔂 each Dua'a thrice :)
Times when Dua'a has high hopes and guarantee of being accepted
      1. Tahajud /Last third of every night at this time
Allah SWT descends to bestow His bounty upon His slaves, to meet their needs and to relieve their distress, when He says: “Who will call upon Me, that I may answer Him? Who will ask of Me, that I may give him? Who will seek My forgiveness, that I may forgive him?” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 1145)
      2. Between the adhan and the iqamah. It is narrated in a sahih report that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “A du’a offered between the adhan and iqamah is not rejected.” (Narrated by Abu Dawud (521) and al-Tirmidhi (212). See also Sahih al-Jami’, 2408)
      3. When it's raining
Our beloved prophet Muhammed Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said : “There are two which will not be rejected: du’a at the time of the call (to prayer) and when it is raining.” (Narrated by Abu Dawud and classed as sahih by al-Albani in Sahih al-Jami’, (3078).
      4. Last hour of every Friday, one hour before magrib prayer
Our prophet Muhammed said “During it(Friday) there is a time when a Muslim slave does not stand and pray and ask Allah for something, but He will give it to him,” and he gestured with his hand to indicate how short that time is. (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 935; Muslim, 852. See also question no. 21748)
      5. In Sujood (in prostration)
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The closest that a person is to his Lord is when he is prostrating, so say a great deal of du’a then.” (Narrated by Muslim, 482)
      6. When we hear the crowing of roaster
Prophet Muhammed SAWS said “When you hear the crowing of a rooster, ask Allah of His bounty, for he has seen an angel.” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 2304; Muslim, 2729)

Yes guilt is a bad feeling and a bad emotion but why are we given the advice to feel the guilt when do istighfar, we are asked to think to our sins and regret them. Should we stop feel guilt when repenting or something else?

  • @crazycrker
    @crazycrker 3 місяці тому +2

Many people advise seeking istaghfar, but is it the quantity that matters? because I have increased in seeking forgiveness, I just havent been able to manifest rizq

    • @tkn9979
      @tkn9979 3 місяці тому +4

The prophet SAW used to do istighfar 100 times a day, so probably follow that guideline, but even 1 sincere istighfar is enough for Allah to forgive you and admit you into gardens under which rivers flow. So id say focus on quality, manage what you can, then increase if you’d like to challenge yourself. For me since I’m revert when I say Arabic words often times my brain doesn’t process what I’m saying, even if I may understand the words. so I make sure to maintain my quality by actually thinking “I seek forgiveness from Allah” or visualizing the words in my mind as I’m saying Astagfirullah, it keeps my heart present. Also thinking about past sins you’ve committed as you’re doing istighfar and seeking forgiveness for those also is a good way to have quality.

    • @StarLight-no6ic
      @StarLight-no6ic 3 місяці тому +2

The feeling is what matters. Remember our deeds are weighed not counted. You shouldn’t be so fixated on when it happens. It will happen when it is the best time. Dont rush it, results can take time, for some its soon, others it is a long time. How many years do we spend watching haraam and wasting our time? We should not be so quick to rush our time for Allah. Do not have the intention to eventually quit or give up once you get what you wanted. Once you start seeking forgiveness, shaytaan will push back and give you thoughts like these, don’t let them consume you, your time will come soon.

*THE BEST DUA'A TO SEEK FORGIVENESS & GUARANTEED JANNAH* 💯💕 (Sayyid Ul Istigfaar)
Prophet Muhammed SAWS said whoever says this Dua'a once in the morning and die before evening with certainty *S/he is GUARANTEED JANNAH* and whoever says this Dua'a once in the evening sincerely and dies before Morning *S/he is GUARANTEED JANNAH*
Please make it a habit to recite everyday, once in the morning and once in the evening
      *Reference : Sahih al-Bukhari 6306*
      The Dua'a
      Meaning
“O Allah! You are my Lord. None has the right to be worshipped except You. You created me and I am your servant and I abide by your covenant and promise as best I can. I seek refuge in you from the evil, which I have committed. I acknowledge your favor upon me and I acknowledge my sins, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except you.”
There are some conditions for repentance which we need to follow
      1. Admit our mistake / sin to Allah SWT
      2. Regret the sin we committed
      3. Seek Allah's forgiveness and repent sincerely back to him (saying this Dua'a)
      4. Make a promise to Allah that you'll do your best not to repeat this sin again
In case you fail as human
      Good news once again 🌹
Sincerely follow the above steps and repent again
*Allah SWT promised that he will always accept our repentance not matter how much times we repeat as long as we are sincere with our repentance*
Share this message with everyone to get reward everytime someone practices, these even after we leave this world 🗺
