I used convera to pay my tuition fee deposit and now waiting for the school response as i have already received a mail from the convera platform this morning that my deposit has been delivered to my school that it may take few days for them to reply and any other thing i regards to the payment i should contact the school

Call all of them out….this is the thing that is getting out nowhere in the country, call people out when they are not doing things right. Rubbish Sterling bank is telling me they can’t issue a Visa card
I used dollar card. But I think visa card will work bcos I tried the card and got otp to continue but I don't have sufficient fund so I terminated the process. If the card isn't working check If the card has a limit or sufficient fund.
@@Dikebuka does not work, I called the bank directly and they told me cbn policy is to not let any international transaction go through with naira. The only means is the Form A and your dom accounts

For international students the procedures and systems of Convera for paying tuition fees is extremely complicated, slow, unpredictable, bureaucratic, and unreliable. You run the risk of missing the deadlines. This from my own experience.

Convera is not hard to use...the interface is friendly.
Guess it's blocked for Nigeria.
Can someone prove me wrong.
Someone said he got error msg when he wanted to conclude.He approach the Bank in Nigeria,and they told him to open a Dom account,fund the account through Black market,and then initiate the transfer.
Same story after my Convera transaction was declined. I approached my bank, they told me it's blocked due to a recent government policy and that I should open a Dom account, fund it thru' black market and pay the tuition using the Dom account.

Hi, I requested for a refund from my University in Canada after Visa refusal, but the option they gave me is I can only get my refund via Convera. I'm skeptical about the authenticity of Convera since I'm in Nigeria, moreover the reviews I've been reading about Convera online is poor. Please, do you have an idea if the refund process via Convera isn't as stressful as paying for tuition from Nigeria?

I’m not sure what that means other than what it states (awaiting payment) which MIGHT mean that the payment process has not been completed as your school is yet to receive payment (if the money has been deducted from your bank account) or that the money is yet to be deducted from your account 🤷♀️

Have you gotten the confirmation letter now? If not, I would suggest you contact them if your school is yet to receive the funds and it has already been deducted from your account.

If using Convera, you can see their exchange rate in Naira like I showed in the video.
@@GrayShores yes you assertions are correct but with feedback from the chats it shows Nigeria has been blocked from paying with a naira card. So I'm saying for the person that tried and paid successfully using a dollar card, was it the same naira equivalent that was charged while he used the dollar card

From the information I have; You CANNOT pay with your normal Naira debit card. I believe you need a domiciliary account card to make payments from Nigeria.
