Looks good! I'm guessing since these are options that they don't interact with attributes and variations at all? And in so don't work with stock management or SKU's? Would be helpful though to se how the chosen options look in the cart and checkout, and also how it looks on the backend when an order has been made. 🙂
Hi, thank you for the comment! The plugin will work with variable products but you are correct, the options are added to the product on the product-level. They work independently regardless of what attributes/variations are chosen. If you're interested in tracking stock, the plugin has the feature to use other products as an extra option (barn2.com/kb/display-other-products-as-options/). This might be applicable to your use case. Here is an example of how the product options look like on the Order in the admin area (share.getcloudapp.com/eDu0vzDZ). You can visit our demo (productoptions.barn2.com/) to see how the options look like on the product pages and on the Cart page. @@Barn2Plugins He asked a great question. Your link does not explain it. The better question is: How would I add a checkbox option with a product SKU assigned? Let's say I like to offer a main product (e.g. board game) and the customer can purchase a pen via the check box options. My 3PL needs to have all products to pick. Therefore the main product shall be picked (which has a SKU) and the pen (has a SKU as well). Both products reduce my inventory. Can this plugin be used? At 4:48 I can only add a label and costs, but no SKU.
@@EagerToLearn253 when this video was created, this was not possible - however since the video, we have added a new 'Products' option type which lets you display other SKU's as checkboxes. For example, if you have a board game product then you can add a 'Products' option to it, select a pen product, and choose the 'Checkbox' style. The pen (plus any other products you selected) will then appear as checkbox options on the board game product page. You can read more about this at barn2.com/blog/woocommerce-display-products-as-options.

When I add the product "DVD/Blu-Ray drive", does the backend use the SKU for the "DVD/Blu-Ray drive" and the 3PL would get the pick list for the "DVD/Blu-Ray drive" +inventory stock management reduced the DVD player by 1 unit as well? Can I include subscriptions as another product as well?
Yes, you can select subscription products and the backend uses the SKU of the selected products. For example, look at our demo product productoptions.barn2.com/product/smartphone/ which has other products displayed as options - each of the smartphone accessories is a separate product with its own SKU, inventory etc.

I bought this earlier this week and am having issues with the percentage increase option. My product is single or double sided and when I select a percentage increase for a double sided product my "Total $" doesn't update. Please help!

No enough explanation, what about if I want to add custom numbers, name and logos to t-shirts and I want to display logos in different areas, like front chest logo, right or left size, back name and number? The stylist is not great, not option to do anything.
