This map REALLY reminds me of the movie “maze runner” and the “runners” in this map are basically the same in the movie. Have you watched that movie???

Hey mustard, while I was playing And I noticed a problem with the map. The monsters were camping the spawn so u instantly died while u join. Other than that the map was really fun😀

Mustard could fix it by making the spawn only accessible by the player
@@ItsRobbeh. or he could set many spawns so the player doesn't spawn in one location
i think the monster and the runner should spawn across the map from each other
One suggestion is that you should disable respawning so people can’t just respawn and become hunter or runner again. Also you should add a timer that kills people that don’t pick in time! But besides that this is REALLY FUN!!

5:52 This is where a build helper feature that sets all the used channels of selected objects to the next free channels would be very helpful because you need a separate activation for each square on the map. However, the game I play with this feature, Geometry Dash, has a 2D level editor with every action such as copy and paste being buttons around the outside of the screen you can click. So, with Epic’s system of assigning every action to a keybind or button on a controller I feel like they would need to add an undo button 1st to make sure there’s enough input options left to add this feature with the limited input options available on a controller.
@Doomanex It would be a nice addition, I would just like an undo option 1st.

@@AG3N I guess you could say that even though I’ve seen ones that are over 2 screen lengths before.
Or you could use sequencers that the trapper activates to kill the runner in the square with no channels. It would take some adjusting but it would work. Smarter not harder

This is so awesome! and i love the use of the mini map but i think the runners should be slow and the monster should be fast while the runners need objective to complete to be able to leave the maze! making this map truly awesome! also if with the HUD device you could make the map bigger!
This map looks soooooo good, just like an arcade game, defenetly gonna play this tomorrow right when i log on!

There's a problem:
You can camp spawn
You can fix it by having runners spawn around the map instead of one spot, preventing camping.
Thanks to someone who pointed it out, the map goes black too for some reason. I think the reason is the sky dome is super high so if you lowered it so if it only hits the part where your not allowed to see, the glitch will be fixed

Hi mustard!
I noticed when you were setting the channels for the mutator and death zones, you were scrolling all the way down in the advanced settings for the device.
A tip just to see channels is go to the tab on the top (it should be the last tab), it should say channels only. Hope that helps :)

Dang I tried to make a lightsaber map, and I had to program each square in an arena and I ran out of patience because it was soooooo tedious. Glad you pulled through!

Mustard Plays is evolving. And I like it.
There is a easier way to make it so people get eliminated when you run into them. This is using the player counter device, when it reaches 2 players (meaning that 2 people are in that tile) it checks your class, does some caclulations and figures out who to eliminate.
I thought of that too, I just didn’t know how to word it.

Mustard pls can u do an arena using all different devices and the goal is to remain on the arena and if it’s co op u could have the eliminated players above the arena trying to grief the remaining players

I know this is a little late, but I’ve just done a map with loads of identical devices, and it seems relevant. If you want to quickly test all the mutator/damage zone devices, look in the channel list. All of the matching devices will have the same numbers alongside them. If you’ve made a mistake with a channel number then it will stand out by having the wrong number of affected devices.

Make it where there are buttons scattered that when pressed it disables the marker of the runner for the monster but still visible to the runner, if you can't do it, then you are definitely knowing this suggestion is pretty good to make it more challenging!

There is a setting in the my island tab that allows you to choose the stamina of sprinting! You should make it lower so it can be a little more fair for the runners!

I dont if mustard knows but if you modify a mutator or any devicr if you copy it all the modificatios for the device stays so yeah.

Mustard I think u can change the speed on the sprinting
For the pitch black walls and stuff this worked but you can get the black wall gallery which makes pitch black walls so much easier to build. Just a tip 😉
I had to put the yellow primitives above anyway and thought it would be easier.
