How can anyone evaluate a QB in a "no contact" practice? It is under pressure when you see what a QB has. Need full speed contact scrimmage at practice.
Hugh needs to scheme to what our qb can effectively run, regardless of who it is. In my opinion, Hugh's furt 2 game gameplans have been to keep the freeze 4 happy and to recruit Deuce versus game planning to ensure a win. The rpo is read pass option. Running should be a last option. There were plenty of open receivers against Cal. PT just didn't see them or couldn't anticipate when to throw.
PT going out again is the literal definition of insanity. Idc if he is a practice hero. I would rather see a freshman or sophomore throw *5* picks than a 5th year senior!
The whole problem is Thorne not getting the ball out quick enough. It’s always been the main issue. He is what he has shown. It won’t change and it won’t get better against good teams.
I’m tired of its more than pt excuse. Naw it’s pt. This is coming from someone who has been rooting for pt & not 1 time said replace him. Out with the old in with the new. Scott don’t need to kick return, j.hunter plays lazy so yeah it wasn’t all pt fault it was his eyes on the rush fault. Au staff ain’t gonna be able to get media to smooth things over with pt. Freeze don’t make the change well put his job on line & see if he makes the switch.
It’s just gotten so old, it’s every single year with this QB instability crap. I’ll be impressed now if this team manages to win 7 and better hope we hang on to the recruiting class.
Can someone tell CHF that the fan base doesn't mind a few losses but it has to be with someone actually trying to become the future. Not with a 4 year starting VET that should be WAAAAAAYYY farther along and that isn't even going to be in college after the end of this season. We want progression with the future of Auburn. Let's not blow this season and NEXT season as well adjusting to new QB play (that you aren't even comfortable with subbing in to try and salvage this season) that means we have a LONG way to go so let's get started.
I fell of the PT train after the second drive. My main question is, If you see your QB struggling to make plays and we are falling behind, why tf didn’t you pull him and put Hank Brown in? After the 3rd quarter I seen no chance in a come back. I thought Hank Brown being a deep threat would at least open up the running game or at least got us some first downs throwing the ball down the field ACCURATELY
Being the best qb at practice is not cutting it, if you get in the game and can’t make throws and having 2-3 picks losing to Houston, Maryland,New Mexico State and Cal. It’s getting embarrassing
Hank getting way less practice time then Thorne!!! OF COURSE THORNE WOULD BE BETTER AT PRACTICE BECAUSE HE IS PRACTICING 100% and HANK ISNT GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHINE

Very few coaches allow their QB's to get hit in practice. I understand it, but it doesn't prepare them properly imo.

Someone needs to ask Hugh how much film is needed to form PT's resume. It appears he is what he was last year.
Practice Hero Game Day Zero

That and half the time he does it misses lol
Should they have to simplify for a sr qb?

Hope we hang on to certain players like Jeremiah c

PT is the ultimate practice QB
PT is the ultimate garbage can QB in game
It’s easy to see that

Thorne never had it. Make the switch or get laughed out of the SEC.
I don’t see how we get 4 wins
Hugh freeze is always making excuses. Last year, he did the same thing. CHF is on the PT hill and doesn't want to move!!
I see QB change New Mexico put a lot point on there lost not going to be easy. Easy was AM
If you are going to make a change then now is the time don't just throw a new qb to the wolves in week 4

If HF doesn't make the change now you can flush this season down the drain and we're going to lose the freeze 4 and future recruits
