This is awesome! Glad I found your channel. Not only do I love the songs you choose but your lesson style while providing the tabs is the best format I've seen so far. If you take requests, I'd love to see your take on the all time greatest St Stephen (1-22-78), the intro is slightly different and it also concludes with the greatest solo I've ever heard. I posted the DP 23 version, which the solo starts around the 4 min 20 sec mark. Thanks for all of the great stuff!
So good, thank you. Also, well played. At 1:10-1:12 instead of sticking with the 12,11-9 combo and bend, I hear hammer on and off with 10,9-10-9 before going into that descending pentatonic scale lick at the end of the intro.
St stephen is still the dope song of all man.I love the version on the 1969 Fillmore west boxset march the 1st.Love them all, they always play it a little different evertime. The Grateful dead is my life,im still trying to hunt the first night at the Fillmore west 1969 27th of February.I will find it,ive got the 2nd night 28th of February and the 3rd night 1st of march.
Still coming back to these, Craig. Did you catch the Dead & Co.? I saw them in Boulder, CO. Fantastic show! John Mayer sounded so good. Definitely adds a bluesy, Jerry sound with his style. Fits nicely amongst the classics.
yo can u pleeeeeeaaase do the studio version of dark star? there is not a single thing online to learn it and i think its one of the best songs ever made.
