Is there is necessary to backup the recovery?
Because it can replace the your costum recovery to stock recovery which is not good

you forgot to mention one extremely useful option. in the recovery, go to Backup tab then Settings, then tick the Enable Compression option. this reduces the size of backup file by a fair margin.
File Can be Corrupted Due To Compression
@@apoorva22 maybe this is the issue for my phone,after changing few rom and few backups,only 1 time it works,the rest after restoring backup phone seems to stuck and cant run normally,i had to reset factory settings and download all apps again which is annoys me alot in wonders
Default restoration is always better, file compression may lead to some issues
Even settings don't change when u do backup ???

My phone after backup it become stuck and can't run normally,i had to reset factory and do all the downloaded app again,i had change 4 roms and all that 4 times backup does not work as it should,i had enable compression before backup for smaller size

Agar mai internal storage me backup leta hu aur phir rom flash karte vakt format data karta hu to ky mera backup bhi delete hojayega???
