We still use some chains around the place. Especially on the outside pen gates.

Hope you love your new crush as much as we do. We bought exactly the same one last year, but have it set up to operate from the other side. We already have the Ti Pari T30 system with our Racewell HD3 so we didn’t need a lot of the cabling that you did for the tru test. I love the Ti Pari equipment, even though we are in Australia, their backup and support is excellent. Their warehouse in Epping in Melbourne is only two hours away from us, and their tech support is excellent. I have had a few glitches with my T30 which has needed software updates and all I have had to do is call Gareth in Oamaru and he logs in live through the modem on my HD3 and fixes the problem; from another country! My wife and I are hoping to grab a few weeks holiday on the South Island next autumn, we would love to drop in and say G’day. Cheers from Victoria

Hey Alistair a few weeks ago over in in Australia ,the National Broadcaster ABC has a rural show on TV called “ Landline “. Anyway they had an article on a goat farmer who was raising goats for the domestic market. The wife had a Te Pari beanie and jacket on and then they showed them drafting goats and they had a Te Pari crush setup in the yards 👍
Nice. They are becoming more popular in Aus by the sounds of it.
John Ti Pari have strong presence here in Australia too, we have one of their Jetters, a Racewell HD3 handler and wifi connected dosing gun, as well as the T30 Tablet and software system. We also have the same cattle crush that Alistair has just purchased, although the crush range over here have different names so they aren’t confused with some Australian made products. The T30 works with both sheep handler and cattle crush, and both machines have wifi modems so the dosing gun works with both also, and they also both have built in modems so Ti Pari tech support can log in live if you have any problems and help you diagnose the issue. I generally buy Australian made equipment where I can, but from what I have seen the Ti Pari equipment is better made and better value than any other products available here. If I cant buy local, then I am happy to buy from our cousins across the ditch!

Nice crush, I feel the latch to the front touching the crush will give you weighing issues better to have it latch down into the concrete, add a metre long handle to avoid having to bend down to use it.
We will see how it goes. The latch can be easily changed.
