This has to be one of the hardest panels for them to do since the news broke out. My heart went out to Jared when he broke down. Jensen was trying not to cry, but I knew he wanted to also. Jared did not look well at all.
Around 12:00, I am so, so, SO happy that the woman told Jared about what an amazing job he did in Prophet and Loss. He really deserved to hear that, especially after hearing the circumstances and the difficulty he had in preforming it. She said it perfectly... he managed to make himself look so vulnerable and small in that scene. Jared is such a phenomenal actor and that scene is one of my all time favourites. I hope he knows how much that scene touched so many of us.
Yes!!! I was saddened to hear about how difficult it was for him to shoot that scene, because it was an AMAZING performance. He deserves all the kudos for that!

Poor Jared is having a really hard time. Jensen is too, he just doesn't show it as much. They were both so nervous and upset, and I think they are confident in their decision, but they know it is going to be very hard. Jensen has always been the quieter, and shyer of the two and he doesn't like getting real emotional in public, so he is holding it in. He even broke a little during this panel. I hope everyone can just be as supportive as the fandom has always been, and I hope J2 can relax and have a bit more fun like they usually do.
They haven't been this nervous during a panel since they first started doing conventions 😔 It's obvious that SPN ending is weighing heavily on Jared, he was barely holding it together the whole panel, and at the end when he tried to talk about it and couldn't so he told Jensen to take over 😭 Anyone who is rude/hateful toward them for ending SPN are just plain selfish because it is so clear that this decision was difficult for them, that it hurts them as much as us and I hate that some people try to make them feel worse about it. So glad the fans were all so supportive and kind during this panel!
Have y'all noticed how Jared looks like he's about to say something about the show ending before the question/comment about Prophet and Loss, and suddenly he stops himself like he realized he wouldn't be able to finish what he wanted to say without crying? And then there was that amazing woman commenting on his amazing performance (that carried terrible circumstances) on Prophet and Loss and he ended up crying anyway...

I just want to be Jareds personal hugger. Whenever he needs one ill hug him. They must of been soooo nervous but im so glad that they are not putting up a front like everything is ok when its not. That is one of the many reasons i love these guys. They are honest with us and dont hide their feelings. Not just here just all the cons. Im also really glad that everyone was lovely to them. They looked like they needed and appreciated the support.

I think the guys maybe entered this con with slight trepidation, knowing how much Supernatural means to everyone and maybe were nervous that emotions were going to run high, given the recent news, both for them and for us. I’m so glad that the love from everyone won through the sadness, and that they were treated with extra love & kindness. I just want someone to hug them tight and tell them that no matter what the reason, we support their decision and will always love them. I hope that made sense. 💟☮️

i dont know why im typing this i must be either weird or just plain insane... but just hearing and watching these two.. from way before supernatural to being a fan since season 1 i admit i stopped watching after 10 not because i got bored but because i always wish somehow someway my real job was like theirs but its called acting and maybe ill never be an actor my life wasnt destined to be that happy way... but jsut to see how much they have progressed and evolved as actors and not only that that people come and just appreciate their works and see what they have gone through along with having families now im just so proud of them.. they never let lifes bullshit get the best of them.. when you hear jared and jensen talking about being away from the family to being on planes most of the time in the week from other panels it really kinda gives you a little taste of the commitment and sacrifice they do every single day to live out what they are passionate about.. the fame the money the attention thats all bonus for them they were passionate way before all this happened.. to see them still being decent good human beings.. i cant say that for every actor but for these two.. makes me wish i wasnt an only child.. I’ve heard they have some dates announced for 2020 already. They didn’t plan on stopping cons anytime soon, they just wanted to do less to spend time with their families.
They have just no addressed the convention on the main panel. They said they have a contract to do them past the end of season 15 and hope to do them for a long time.

You are right they dont owe us an explanation but its pretty clear they all including Misha miss their families and their kids are getting older and will notice more if their dads arnt around. And i honestly think that is the main reason for them stopping and SPN cant go on without them. Also they are getting older and are probably exhausted from 15 years next year of non stop work. Also they dont just have filming they do a hell of alot of cons and that takes up lots of time. I really believe that is the main reason.
they've also said for years if they felt like the show wasn't up to par or that it was running out of steam that they would want to end it on a high. honestly the reason the show didn't end after s5 is the comradre they share. i mean, i'm sad about it.. and they're sad about it. but it's time. they also deserve to be with their families. they've given so much of themselves and i'm sure they have missed a lot of milestones with their kids because of their schedules.

Don't get me wrong, I think the world of these two guys so much! Never mind being actors... The way they are as human beings is beyond ridiculously amazing! But watching this video, Jared freakin killed me when he constantly seemed to want to break down in tears... And on the other hand, Jensen knowing the heart breaking feeling throughout the crowd just seemed to not phase him at all. Which makes me keep flashing back to a comment I read a few days after the announcement was made by a fan blaming Jensen for making the final decision to end the show after Season 15. Just like while watching the announcement video on Instagram, Jared was dying with every word Jensen said and yet Jensen seemed to not have a problem at all making the announcement. I'm beginning to believe that Jared seriously doesn't want the show to end. But for some reason refuses to argue about it. It's just a gut feeling I'm getting that Jared and Jensen are definitely not on the same page about this.
IDK about you, but in that Instagram video, all three of them looked like they been crying, or had some sadness about the show ending. I'm sad that the show is ending, but I also thought it was time for it to end. I believe both J2 are agreeing with it, but they are also letting go of a show they have been for a LONG time. Also, Jensen doesn't show a lot of that sort of emotion to the fans, so that may explain why; the guy knows how to keep it in.
Jensen is just much better at keeping it together. He was especially on the alert to be so today because he knows how much trouble his friend is having keeping the emotions in check. He jumped in immediately each time Jared was in trouble. They couldn't have a panel where both of them were constantly breaking down.
It's gonna end at 15 seasons. That 15 YEARS of their lives they've spent on this show. I don't think anyone can ask of them to do anymore. Even if it was just Jensen's decision and he is genuinely happy about this, good for him! Because let's be honest, anything post season 5 was borrowed time and we all knew it. Better to end it while the show is still somewhat bearable and start a new book.
Tired of these fans who are left with stories, Spn was no longer the same show a long time is now over. If a fan can not handle it, the problem is his, even though it's time to finish is also difficult for everyone. Sorry, but Jensen is not to blame that Jared can not hold himself and everything else ends up on him to maintain the situation. I'm happy that Jensen will not go through this anymore, he's also feeling just that he controls himself or tries. To be dismantling that even butter does not help.

Jensen is just much better at keeping it together. He was especially on the alert to be so today because he knows how much trouble his friend is having keeping the emotions in check. He jumped in immediately each time Jared was in trouble. They couldn't have a panel where both of them were constantly breaking down.
It's gonna end at 15 seasons. That 15 YEARS of their lives they've spent on this show. I don't think anyone can ask of them to do anymore. Even if it was just Jensen's decision and he is genuinely happy about this, good for him! Because let's be honest, anything post season 5 was borrowed time and we all knew it.
