drove a Kenworth with a 3408 caterpillar 15 speed before .Great sounding engine like the scam is fast revving unlike 6 cylinder diesels 3408 had a crazy amount of power when you mashed the accelerator it was on they love fuel too around 4.5 mpg
You couldn't have said bigger stupidity than this. There's a huge difference between a Mercedes V8, a Scania V8 (even the 14 liter, the 15,6 liter and the 16,4 liter sounds different), a Mack V8 and so on.

Some of them sound nice but sorry guys... The best way to turn diesel into sound is C U M M I N S. Nothing sounds as good as a Cummins, they have a sound all of their own from the Nhk 220’s to the L10, M11, and of course the Nte’s and N14

Justin Hood I'm right there with you. loved trucks ever since I was a transporter in the Finnish Army. american longhoods (especially old peter and westerns) are truly gorgeous. but alot of it has to do with regulations and culture. Top cabs are easier to drive since you always know where you have the front of the truck and the scania turbo whistle is one of the best things ever.
