I'll tell you what, this wood splitter is amazing! It's all fun and games chopping wood with an axe, and we do still do that BUT when we heat our cabin solely with a wood burning stove, this splitter sure makes our life a little easier. We are far from done with all the downed trees but this was a good start! We're in full swing of our 1st summer back in Alaska & we are enjoying every minute of it. Not even gonna lie, Kellan made me shed a tear 🥲 but not from sadness, when u hear a child say tht the reason he likes Alaska is because Mr Joe is a better dad u know ur doing something right. U guys as a family did one of the most selfless things u could do. And thankfully Kellan is reaping the rewards of it all. I’m sure him & Parker have their days just as all brothers do, but at the end of the day, they love each other. And tht is what really matters, 💯👍 Kellan is getting to be just a normal lil boy, who gets to play outside in the dirt, ride his bike, play in their treehouse, etc. and not have to worry about anything. Just a possible idea regarding all the trees in the clearing… why not pull them out with a chain on the Polaris or a tractor (😊) to a designated spot and let them dry. Cut them up as you can or want to. Then they would be out of the clearing so you could go ahead and build your greenhouse. That was my mom’s idea. She loves your channel as do I!
Get you some peppermint oil and put several drops in a spray bottle with water. Spray yourself down with it when you’re outside and the mosquitoes won’t bother you as much. I ran out of oil one day and actually used peppermint extract and it worked as well!
I really hope Kellan gets to stay with you guys permanently.. he has blossomed so much since he got there.. and hearing him say his favorite part was having a better dad with Mr.Joe was both heart warming and heart breaking.. you're both amazing parents and I love watching your channel 🙂

Not even gonna lie, Kellan made me shed a tear 🥲 but not from sadness, when u hear a child say tht the reason he likes Alaska is because Mr Joe is a better dad u know ur doing something right. U guys as a family did one of the most selfless things u could do. And thankfully Kellan is reaping the rewards of it all. I’m sure him & Parker have their days just as all brothers do, but at the end of the day, they love each other. And tht is what really matters, 💯👍 Kellan is getting to be just a normal lil boy, who gets to play outside in the dirt, ride his bike, play in their treehouse, etc. and not have to worry about anything. I wish tht all children were this blessed, u guys r doing an amazing job. Because being a parent is the hardest job there is, but so rewarding. God bless u all 🙏🫶😎

Just a possible idea regarding all the trees in the clearing… why not pull them out with a chain on the Polaris or a tractor (😊) to a designated spot and let them dry. Cut them up as you can or want to. Then they would be out of the clearing so you could go ahead and build your greenhouse. That was my mom’s idea. She loves your channel as do I!
Get you some peppermint oil and put several drops in a spray bottle with water. Spray yourself down with it when you’re outside and the mosquitoes won’t bother you as much. I ran out of oil one day and actually used peppermint extract and it worked as well!
