Data Science and AI student from IIT Guwahati.I Know DSA and ML , DL etc etc and Building some amazing end to end project with deployment. Will it be enough?
Should be good enough but don't lose hope in case you don't get selected! They often consider many many factors that nobody knows about, but this knowledge you can use to apply to as many companies as possible. I cover many opportunities on my Linkedin, keep a tab there and apply! All the best!
Hi Shreemanti didi...i am currently doing an internship(not paid) and it will be continued till the last week of December..so should I mention this ongoing internship in my resume?..I am in 2nd year of college and want to apply in the google step internship...kindly guide me on this
Of course, mention this.. my shecodes internship was also unpaid but that definitely shows your interest and your passion and also your experience in the subject matter.
Hey ask any Google employee on linkedin for referral and they will be able to refer you. I'm not at Google currently so I won't be able to refer you atm
@@sreemantideyAlso are there any other internships for 2nd year students in India, preferably at tech companies ? If yes, could you please mention a few(apart from Google Step internship) ?
I am currently in second year and have mostly made my path in ML and will be applying for STEP . But for STEP the role is for SDE , can having ML in my resume will be a disadvantage ? how can i improve it for better chances of selection from now . I would like to get in contact with you either by linkedin or other medium , as it would be really helpful in current situation .
sure, i'll answer your queries, don't worry. ML in your resume will help definitely!!! Learn and practise coding now since first there will be OA after resume shortlisting, you would want to get as high score as possible!!!
Yes one pager should be better, manage spacing and all, it was my 2nd year and I didn't have much guidance during the time so I used this resume and got selected so maybe 3 pages or 2 or 1 page doesn't matter much. But better to include all the sections
i know dsa , frontend technologies ( not backend and database yet) , i dont have any internship exp ( im in 3rd sem) , i have a few projects and have won a hackathon too..............whats the probability of shortlisting
@MystryVerse-qm5sv hey sounds good but don't worry so much. Keep practicing dsa and ml and even if you don't make it to the shortlists, since it depends on a huge number of internal factors, I keep posting opportunities on my LinkedIn, you can keep a tab there and apply to as many as possible.
I am an accounting graduate with an interest in machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL). I have learned some of these topics on my own and completed a few projects. Additionally, I have covered some computer science courses on my own, such as Networking, Operating Systems, DBMS, and Data Structures/Algorithms. Should I apply for roles in these fields, and if so, in which domain? please answar me!!!!!!
Hey its a good idea to apply for roles in ML and AI. I often post opportunities on my LinkedIn you can stay tuned there and apply to internships and jobs as when you find them. I would say start with internships since you are new in this domain but gradually you can apply to these job roles too
Hello, i know they havent said that this is for female applicants only, but could you please tell what is reality, i mean they can accept applications, but do they accept only female candidates>?
Well, in my year, it was mostly girls who got into the step internship but I've heard last year the Google diversity hiring team got replaced so I think this time there might be more male candidates who get this internship. But again I'm not sure so always it's better to apply and prepare at your utmost.
It was mainly a web app development internship where we used react and connected react with backend to add support of different features like video embedding, quizzes etc
Hey they haven't mentioned it anywhere but in my year it had a very high percentage of women (2022 year) but rules keep changing so I would encourage all to apply
See, they don't mention it anywhere but in my year, it was majorly girls who got selected but after that, Google has replaced their diversity hiring team so it's best to apply and prepare. Even if you don't get selected here, you can apply to many opportunities on LinkedIn, I keep sharing as many as I come across.
