How is the monitor brightness in that well lit room? I also have a lot of light coming in my room so I have been hesitant of the OLEDs because I know their aren't that bright.

pretty good! i have my G8 at 30% brightness, and everything is still vivid and beautiful imo :) i think it's actually better to have OLEDs at lower brightness to reduce the risk of burn-in, and you can always go with mini-LED instead if you like brighter screens
