Changes have to be made even if it affects their personal life. That's how it has to go. This is from an objective point by the way.

The thing that irks me ... Is I promise you 70% don't and are like "damn right you're doing it! We pay we say"(even though they pay in views which most of the complainers Adblock I bet ) but yt for appreciating it atleast.

+Matthew Dugan well we are the consumers. they should be pleasing us and if they do a good job they get paid in positive feedback and $. but if they don't do there job, which is entertaining their viewers, then we need to show them that we are unsatisfied. the insults and rudeness is extremely uncalled for but you can't blame us for being upset after a terrible year of content from the creature hub and its members.

Hope you guys who where bitching are happy now. Ruined Aleks' plans to go home early for his Christmas vacation and James even had to COME BACK for this. After all the shit hate they got for being unable to do it they sacrificed some of their own time they could've spend with their own families and friends for those who gave them all the hate. People don't understand that things won't be the same forever and that a lot has changed and will continue to change in the future. The forums were a place where anyone could go if they had constructive criticism and they were moderated pretty well. They might lose viewers which is a good point, but they would be getting rid of a lot of the toxicity in the comments.

I remember the last secret Santa (saying it like it was years and years ago lol) but I was going through some health issues and trying to get through nonstop doctor visits and all that. I had the creatures. I've been watching them for 5 years. On and off recently but I love them. I have friends to watch them with as well which makes it even better ! Even though this was probably rushed due to all the shit they were getting from that announcement on Creature Talk (which I also did not like), I still wouldn't mind if they had chosen to do this from the start. I don't care if secret santa would've been uploaded around the 24th-25th. As long as they did it, I wouldn't mind. It could be uploaded in February for all I care.
In my opinion they should have just not done it, I'm glad they did don't get me wrong, but there should have been an executive decision to either do it or not and stick to that decision. Hyping it up and getting everyone excited, to then say it is canceled, and then do it anyway because people were upset about it being canceled. I don't know what they expected to happen . Just my 2 cents.

really? I'm not complaining about shit, just giving my opinion on what I think they should have done, slight difference. And how could they not expect the backlash? one of the most anticipated videos of the year is cancelled, considering how popular the last two have been I'm pretty sure they could have seen this coming. And they should use this experience to improve otherwise they never will. I'm in the middle of this argument, I think they should go home and spend time with family during the holidays but surely they would have known this (or should have) earlier. So announcing it and confirming it didn't really help. Look I'm not hating or trying to start a war I just think that they could have gone about it differently that's all.

The only thing worse than going completely out of your way to do something for people, despite how greedy they might have been, is doing it and then having people still be upset anyways.
Yes, people were incredibly persistent about it being cancelled. It sucks that some people were so rude and hateful, but in the end they just wanted something back that had brought them joy in the previous years. I can only hope that those people see this and appreciate the kindness that has been given to them.
To the people who are name calling, hating on, and belittling the people who were name calling, hating on, and belittling the creatures: You aren't actually doing any good. The creatures have given us another enjoyable video with another enjoyable video to come after the holidays. Be happy? :/

Lmaooo reading the comments and I've noticed a lot of you people live your lives through these men and women and it's scary, I understand you enjoy the content and you like them individually and as a group but they do not owe anyone anything. Go outside , go play a sport, read a book , or hang with friends but this emotionally attached obsession some of you have is not healthy but I digress Merry Christmas =)

Yes, I can say that they have helped me through a lot of depression and stuff over the years, but even then I also know they are on a screen. It is one thing because the Creatures say their fans are their family, but we all know that is not what they mean by that. XD

Well, you see, there is a difference. She is talking about the people that use the Creatures to replace their own social life, or other youtubers. Which, with what she said, that is true with that. However, if she was addressing people like you or me who just love watching these guys, that is different. But, I believe she was talking about all the people who actually consider UA-camrs as a personal friend and stuff. As it would be the exact same form of bad if someone did that with an actor, what I said still applies to them as well. And with that, you cannot say that you think that is healthy? Mentally, I mean. I used to be like that myself, but that was a full four years ago when I *started* watching UA-camrs. But now I am better with a few friends, in-town and online while in college. Not trying to cause an argument or anything, just pointing things out! c:

the creatures are a company now so they have to listen to their customers (via viewers). if they don't do what the customers want then they don't get as much money.
