The 8 Hands honestly feels more like a Warlock card. The artwork for it is phenomenal tho.
And I'm glad that they are genuinely cutting down on the Rainbow support a bit.
I love Rainbow DK, but it shouldn't be the MAIN way to play.

The 8 hands feels like some kind of degen coming up right there.
8 Hands has surprisingly a lot going for it.
It's Blood and Beast, so it can be found easily and cheated out early (turn 6). It synergizes with both the plagues (Helya) and Kil'jaiden.
This will likely see play in a BBU deck. The question is just will the meta be too fast for BBU... maybe until rotation in April.
Eight hands aren't that bad. In blood control or Reno decks, it can be useful. I don't know, it's just that it's so cool that it's worth finding a place for it in the deck :D. And after the rotation, let's see what happens and where they want to take the archetypes for DK.
8 Hands can be used to force the game into fatigue while running Kil'jaeden and the good blood clears and stuff to make it there. Doesn't feel high tier but has some legitimate potential behind it.
But it doesn't, they still have 8 cards that are better than your demons

It’s a beast … so cattle rustler can get this out early. That is signifcant af.. on turn 6

@@masterpotato2162 You build around the 8 cards you have being able to handle 8 cards from other decks. Soulstealers for board clear for an example already eliminate anything from sticking properly. Besides that you keep the cards you already drew and Blood DK has good options to be high health and stay high health. Kil'jaeden would be an inclusion to prevent Boomboss or Plagues from countering your strategy by playing it quickly and otherwise played as late as possible.
Since 8 hands is a beast that means cattle rustler can make it 5 which you play on turn 6. This is very significant depending on your mulligan
Plus DK have a bunch of disruption Frozen over + clumsy steward. Think about it
The 8 Hands From Below is really bad, like Void Contract, the best way to use it is to disenchant it.
The exact same thing was said about Wheel of Death.
Void Contract only destroyed half of a deck and had no body and was a Warlock card.
This card has the potential to be the new Reno-level of annoying in BBU decks.

Void contract was just too random. This seems much more controlled, but still just as slow. Only good against some combo stuff, since I feel like if this could be good kiljaeden will just be run in reno/control decks to counteract it.

By the time you get to 8 mana, most decks don't have much more than 8 cards left in their deck anyway. Such is the powercreep of card draw.
Then, since you only burn the lowest cost cards, you basically filter out opponent's bad draws of their early game cards they didn't draw.
If it burned highest cost, THEN it would have potential. Since then you could burn the opponents actually good cards and leave them with a bunch of Helya sourced infinite Plagues instead. But alas, no. It doesn't even have the decency to synergize with anything DK does.
They haven't learned from Tony king of piracy, blowing up someones else deck isn't fun...

I am not a Wild player but does 8 hands have some potential in mecha'thun decks or something?
With 8 Hands you finally have a way to deal with infinite Plagues again
8 hands should remove the thogrun bombs and incindius mines right? That alone kind of makes me want to run it.
The "8 hands from beyond" can help counter the spell OTKs: Pipsi pally, Nature shaman, sif mage, owlonius, Odyn...
So it's quite a good a tech card for control. but at 8 mana it might be a little late.
8 hands will see play in those slow blood decks. get rid of all your crap draws, then just kiljaeden if you go to fatigue
The only use for the 8 hands I can think of in standard would be as an answer to Boomboss, and even then it just seems way too slow
Even against Boomboss, TNT is 5 mana so unless your deck is ultra-greedlord big cards AND you drew none of your big cards besides this minion... You're likely to still have TNT in your deck.
@@tarille1043 TNT is 6 mana, so that makes 8 hands even more useless against it.
Can you combo this with Kiljaeden? Both players will run out of cards but you have Kiljaeden once you draw every card
8 hands could also be used to delete 20-30 cards immediately to discount the ceaseless expanse by a ton all at once (if you’ve drawn it, which if not, at least it will still remain in your deck)
I actually like the 8 hand, use it after they used Marin and Fizzle

I feel like card for card DK outvalues most decks. If you blow up both comfortably on turn 8, youre probably able to stall out the game and win through fatigue.
The way I see it, 8 hands is a tech card for control decks against these cheap spell damage OTK decks that are becoming more prevalent recently e.g. Nature Shaman or Concierge Druid.

The 8 hand will only be good if you randomly generate it somehow. Only triple rune card can't be discovered,so this is an option. Otherwise the card is a really slow value card that only counters slow combo deck and those dont see any play anymore.
8 Hands is going to be really annoying when a non blood deck gets it off of Mismatched Fossils.
For Suffocate, does “neighbor” specifically mean a minion? Can that destroy a location??

The 8 hands card is a great counter against class like priest or odin warrior that relly on small and big card to win.
I can see this card works on control decks. Actually there a bunch of cards available for DK to "generate more cards" and break your opponent limited resources.
I guess control blood got another wincon? Wish Mograine was still available to use though.

8 Hands looks like a combo breaker to me. You can get rid of cheap spells or something like Brann or Kingsbane.
Still seems kinda weak though...
8 hands could have been seen as a way to get rid of plagues from your own deck... but like... i'd run kil'jaden for that
I like this legendary, looks very fun to play around and giving them the pests after that could be very good
The 8 Hands From Beyond is a counter to Boom Boss, the bane of triple blood v warrior. Also clears plagues.
Just checked and realised the TNT is 6 mana for some f****** reason, though if you have a really expensive deck it should still clear them somewhat consistently.

If they buffed 8 Hands to just 1 blood rune then you MIGHT be playing it in plague decks, because you can just play Helya afterwards. But right now I can't think of a use for it.
Just occurred to me that your opponent will get the benefit of it before you do since they'll be starting their turn on turn 8 or 9 by drawing one of their most costly cards, while you just spent all your mana not doing a thing.
You are assuming this isn't played on Turn 5 or 6, which it can be. It's a Beast.
If it didn't have up to 10 Mark would have been able to summon the 15/15

the starship are bad but the legendary. Ok also bad but you can use it. Because its a beast it exist for sure to get it cheaper in hand. That mean you can reduce the decks to 8 card. And that you dont get mill you can put cards in your deck back. or 8didndt know the english name) "pest" or so. this cards that shuffel back in the deck with the legendry. and so on. Also this card can be used.
8 mana when you lose too many card in control like 8 in your deck and 18 in druid for example play and ....

Why do they keep printing cards like that 8 mana thing? Deck destruction has always been either too bad or too toxic to play. Tickatus? toxic. Boomboss? First bad then toxic. The Jailer Tony combo? Also extremely toxic.
Turns out: Players want to play their cards. Denying that by destroying their deck is never fun. Best case would be that it is not played at all, but at this point you have to ask why it exists in the first place :/
You might think it's toxic, but loads of people like playing that kind of deck. Tickatus was, and Boomboss is, a very popular deck despite having pretty garbage winrates

God there card design is absolutely terrible
Jeeze DK got horrible card it's lame...
That legendary is going to be broken, because apparently there is a bug, if you play the 4/4 legendary minion that shuffles 3 plagues into the opponent's deck when it's empty, they get shuffled again at the beginning of your opponents turn. And every turn after that. Unless it has been fixed in the latest patch.
