Thunderbirds 2004 - The Monorail Rescue

- As requested! Taken from the 2004 movie, this clip features Tintin (at least she's not Kayo), Fermat (Brain's suddenly appearing son) and Alan (yeah I know, hard to believe) attempting to rescue people trapped beneath the waters of the river Thames after the Hood brings down a monorail (in the stolen mole, on the way to the bank of england, after damaging Thunderbirds 5 and 3 with a missile - do try and keep up).
Fermat takes control of Thunderbird 2 while Alan heads down to take a look in Thunderbird 4, but it quickly becomes obvious he can't do it alone... Amazing coincidence Tintin is able to fall hundreds of feet unharmed then, eh.
What did you think of ill-fated 2004 film? Did you like the rescue? Let me know in the comments below!
Disclaimer: As you may well have guessed, I do not own any of the footage or audio in this video nor anything to do with any series or version of Thunderbirds. How ever much I wish I did.
It was a good movie, the only issue was focusing on just one of the Tracy's instead of using the formula the puppet series used
who else agree there should be a sequel to thunderbirds
the lack of airpods leads me to believe that the tracys are not actually rich
As someone that grew up with the original tv show, this movie was still much better than people think
The live action Thunderbirds movie might not have been perfect, but the scene where Alan and Tintin use Thunderbird 4 to raise the Monorail up to the surface and everyone in London praising them was such a heroic moment 💛
I grew up watching this movie
This is when it felt like a Thunderbirds movie.
For what it was, yeah, parts of it were cheesey, for me, it was Thunderbirds, the 2004 movie didn't completely trash the original series.
It is a crime that this movie didn’t get a sequel. I don’t know why people didn’t like it, but what i do know is that i loved it and thats all that matters.
They missed the point .Nobody knew who they were ,they just showed up to rescue people.
As a person growing up with Thunderbirds, I have to admit, there are some things of this movie that weren't entirely faithful to the 1965 series, but I have to say, I think this scene was pretty epic and worthy of getting goosebumps with how awesome it was.
One thing I always appreciated about Thunderbirds was similar to what I loved about Star Trek. In a lot of sci-fi, we only see advanced technology as means of war. In Star Trek, the most advanced technology was about the question "What is out there?". In Thunderbirds, it was "How can we help?".
I couldn’t count the times I watched this as a kid.
I really loved this move as a kid and still do! The Monorail Rescue scene is awesome!

Absolutely adore the 'fly alone???' line before it cuts to Tintin there. Like? Nah she's fine she's not helping.
The movie was a little out of touch but this was great. Cool gadgets, a bit of a cool ingenuity, and FINALLY SOME BLOODY ROCKETS
This was one of my favourite movies when this came out :D I watched this like 7 times in 2 days... Those old good days <3
I’m almost 19, I first saw this film when I was about 7, it randomly popped into my head, I absolutely love this film
It got so much flack, but I still really enjoy this film. Whenever I find it while channel hopping, I usually stick around. I love it!
