I get exhausted just watching the Newsies choreography.
5:58 And that's why he won a Tony for this choreography
I can never be bored of the acro, specially the way they just keep the energy up.
I always knew the choreography was good but now I know why it's good this video was super helpful 😊
Hazel Grace Lancaster glad you enjoyed 😊
1:38 Alex Freakin' Wong! Alex Wong is a dance god.

i have to say the choreography for both the play and even the movie version was both great
I like your breakdowns -- just found you by accident this afternoon after stumbling across your breakdown of "Six" -- because I like gaining depth to the shows that I love. Your descriptions of why choreographic things are good are great. I just accepted them for what they are, but now I know *why* I like them so much. My only critique of your critique is regarding the acro -- Newsies is known to be a high-energy show with insane-energy choreo, and I think that the acro moves are not overdone. I think they give punch and momentum to what's going on on-stage, as if, "if you were amazed by this, you're about to be wow-ed by what's coming"! And in this particular song, that momentum needs to build, representing the building feelings of oppression and revolution of the strike. The acro moves get more intense and (seemingly) more difficult as the song progresses, which also mimics the heightened emotions of the moment. I never watch this number, on-stage or on-screen, without wanting to learn the steps so I can join the strike, too. And at the end, instead of everyone (or even just multiple people) doing acro, they're doing them one at a time, which helps give extra punch to the build-up to the end of the song. Overall, aside from the acro opinion, I loved your assessment of this number. This is my absolute, #1, can't live without it favorite show, and I love, love, love to see, hear, and learn more about it. Thanks!
Please upload more videos! It's super fun, and I'm learning how to analyse a dance performance
