Master Technician with Plastic is Cody’s new band name. All he has to do is bite his nails, sing a song and his ass will finally contribute a walleye without the boot stomping. Ughh hate those toothy slime darts. Untouched virgin water and superstition minnow definitely sounded juicy. Glad to see Cody come in clutch with the limit fish!!! Was a fun weekend!
I was there the week of May 23 to the 29th. The water temp when we were there was like 40 in Crooked Creek and Hell Creek didnt seem much warmer. At least I thought it was, blown away that yall are reading 60 in May.

Gulp alive plastic minnow will out fish a actual minnow any day. I just did a tourney we got second place I used a 1/4oz VMC jighead with a 3 inch gulp Alive minnow the whole day. Landed 20.5, 21.5, 19.75 and a 18.75 inch my buddy got a couple of 23s but those are small comparing to Ft.Peck fish.
Yeaaaa when they want the minnow... they hit the minnow hard.

I think the biggest part with plastics is you can really rip em around and trigger active fish faster to be honest. And they stay on the hook

Same here. For me, it takes all the fun out of it. I hate the hyperactivity of it all.
You definitely did your part catching fish. If I may recommend you put the camera on the fish a bit longer. I see you net it and cut right into throwing it into water. Hold the fish up for a few seconds.
Well I would, like I usually do..... but they're only 20's and we were actively trying to catch as many as possible. The bigger ones on day 2 we do
Even the trash fish get thrown over asap. Gotta get back down asap
