He did ton of rapping in their earlier discography. You should probably see a compilation video of him rapping by Ida S ( if rapping is your thing I mean) . He has his own style and super flair for it. He sings, he adlibs, he does runs, he harmonizes, he sings all choruses and he raps. Plus he is the only one who knows their full discography because he does all vocal guides. The guy is a god tier level. His harmonies with Jin and Hobi are pretty much legendary.

Also you should really check out his livestrams (called vlives) where he sings for the ARMY and you get to hear his pure raw vocals . He has done four such livestreams in 2021 and I would highly suggest watching them . Also , it was his birthday yesterday and he went live and literally composed a song in front of us with the messages we wrote for him and then proceeded to give us a mini-concert by singing about 15 songs for us !! For me, Jungkook has the most instinct in doing adlibs n harmonies. He just knows n remembers where n what adlibs would sound great in a song. N BigHitMusic producers took his input seriously. There's a Bangtan bomb where two older members were talking abt them doing lots of their own adlibs in their unit song, but on the next day, Jungkook listened to their adlibs n gave input that their adlibs weren't suitable for the song. The final recording only contains Jungkook's adlibs. This also shows that BigHitMusic considers all input based on merit instead of seniority. Doing great adlibs is not easy, it comes with time ( a lot of practice) and maturity but also with instinct, as you said. I think Jungkook has sixth sense in that regard, he intuitively knows where to adlib and how and it comes out always unforced, smooth and well balanced. In the Soop soundtrack recording was a perfect case in point. He doesn´t succumb to temptation of vocal wankery and need to outshine the rest. He is just outstanding like that.

I have come across an incredibly spot-on description of Jeon Jungkook and his singing somewhere ( I do not recall exact wording but something like…) - He is attuned to some higher vortex that makes him be, sing and project an ultimate effortless perfection even if he himself might not be aware he is doing it😀.
